H kept his eyes shut and allowed the guard to lead him wherever it was they wanted him to go. He heard large doors opening and eventually came to stop. H slowly opened his eyes and found himself before what he imagined was some sort of council. Behind him was a chair he assumed he was supposed to sit in. Quickly, he sat down, shut his eyes again, and hoped they would say whatever they had to so he could get on with his mission.

Adam was lead to his chair and lazily slumped himself down on it. He closed his eyes and waited until someone would say something important.

As the group sat down the American man sat up and began speaking in Esperanto, a language everyone is familiar with. ?First of all we?d all like to thank you. You are doing Ursalia a great service, and when you are successful we shall ensure you are compensated. Anyway, since you all have already been given the briefing we don?t need to repeat what you have already been told. The only recent development that has occurred is that it has been 99.99999% confirmed that all your targets are in the city. Because of this should you fail, which I doubt, we will be forced to pursue more drastic measures. There is also some protocol we want you to follow. First, we want you to remain covert. We?re not saying that you should avoid combat, just make sure that the blame can be placed on another group. Next, when you confront the traitors, we are equally satisfied with them being dead or alive; but, if you kill them bring their undamaged brains back. We can perform scans on them to ensure if the breach of security has spread any farther. Do any of you have any intelligent questions before we continue onto your targets??

"How covert are we going to be when we're on the ground? Shall we have to hide our weapons and our presences? That might be a problem for some" asked 6578 using sign language, in the hope that someone in the room would be versed in it, for if they weren't, this was going to be a very aggravating trip and he'd have to write alot of notes.

He was worried that if they were to remain covert that some of the team might not be suited to stealth, especially since the group consisted of civilian looking scientists and experiments who seemed to lack a taste for subtlety.

Face Dancer also raised it's hand, and asked, "What if the killing causes inherent trauma to the brain, or the bodies are lost? Are all brains required, or merely a representative sample of influential traitors?"

The American man nodded, indicating that he understood. ?As it said in your briefing, San Defortuna and the country itself have been attempting to modernize. This brings along all of the,? he paused for a second, trying to find the correct words,? uniqueness of the modern cities of today. Among all the body mods, skin grafts, and other multitude of things people do you won?t stand out too much. Project Unsung could easily pass off as a gang member trying to look intimidating. 2074-H?s scaled skin is also a somewhat common among the aesthetic grafts.? He then turned towards Facedancer. ?If it becomes necessary for you to damage the brain to kill a target, do it. The scans are merely for absolutely confirming the extent of the breach. We already have a very good idea of how far its spread based off our contacts in the city but we just want to make sure. And if you want to get into specifics, we can get buy if you bring a large portion of the cerebrum, but the whole brain or the whole head would be better. Finally, if you lose the body please make sure it?s dead or call in a cleaning crew to make sure.?

Angela sat quietly near the other experiments at Shren's command. Her head was still slightly lulled and her posture rather limp. While it had not been her intention, Shren had clearly jumped to the conclusion that she was some kind of lame halfwit. Angela was quite willing to let him continue to believe. She held the possibility that hubris on his part could lead to a mistake she could exploit.

Unsung uncoiled his spine from his hunched position to make himself noticeable for all.
"Are we to expect much interaction between our targets or will they most likely remain singular entities to be picked off one by one?" Unsung asked, his voice calm and concise, a clear juxtaposition of the troubling ferry to this meeting ground.
Unsung's smile widened if only a little.
"And if they do interact, should we collaborate with our fellow agents or focus on our targets at all costs?"

The American man answered again, this time replying to Unsung?s question, ?We do have suspicions that some of the targets may be working in concert. This is merely a theory right now. You may organize yourselves in any manner you wish to complete your mission. If you believe it would be best to work as single agents you may. You may also work as teams made up of various labs if you desire so. Your first objective will have to be done together though. When you land you will immediately be contacted by your mission controller. He will lead you to the safe house we have established in San Defortuna. From there the mission controller will use his network of spies and informants to assist you in hunting down, and ultimately defeat your targets. Any more questions before you are briefed on the targets??

Regal paused briefly to see if anyone wanted to speak up, and then spoke himself.

"I believe that, in the interest of time, we should forsake further questions and begin traveling to San Defortuna as soon as possible," he rattled off mechanically. His voice echoed pleasantly through the large chamber. "The longer we wait, the greater the opportunity for the situation with the targets to change, meaning our intel is more likely to become useless."

?Ah, yes, I?m afraid that in my nervousness I have drawn this out. Well you will be further educated on your targets upon arrival,? He looked at a watch that was placed around his wrist, ?In fact you should be there in three.? As he says this you?re eyes begin to get blurry. The more perceptive would have noticed a very, very pale gas seeming to flow near there. ?Two,? a small smirk formed on his face. ? One?? and it all goes to black.

An undisclosed distance away a ring of people are arranged on the ground. Each one of them has been given their equipment and it seems a small spire in the center of them is putting out some kind of cloaking field.

Yeah, I did realize how long this is taking, so I apologize. But as this is my first Forum RP I have a few things to learn. Anyway, if you want to wake your char up do so.

Face Dancer surfaced from unconsciousness, writhing it's face in confusion. It still had the physical proportions of Adam, but his mannerisms had been dropped for the moment. It had been given no equipment, but for the moment simply stood waiting for the others to come to.

Shren woke up violently, swinging his weapons defensively. "That wasn't very fair, they can trust scientists!" He said as he looked over the one awake individual. Shrendius raised an eyebrow suspiciously and sat down, waiting for others to wake up.

As Dr. Grejir and Facedancer woke up they both felt a dull pain on the right side of their heads. The Serpion emerged from an opening on the spire and slithered to Dr. Grejir. An especially acute pain was in Dr. Grejir's top, right wisdom tooth. "Hello Dr. Grejir!" a cheerful british voice said.

6578 had noticed the gas seeping into the room, but after a quick evaluation and from experience, he knew that he was in no danger and that it was a simple knock-out gas. He took slow, deep breaths, allowing the gas to do its work and soon, he was slowly and calmly sent off to sleep.

After what seemed like a moment, the experiment was conscious again and the moment he became aware of the fact, he rolled backwards into standing position whilst unsheathing his sword, again, it was a matter of reflex.

Once he was sure there was no immediate danger, 6578 relaxed his posture and settled into a crosslegged position on the ground, ready to receive orders.

"Hello 6578," Said a cheerful British voice in 6578's ear. "I'm glad to see that the surgeries haven't affected you adversely. Now just to activate the memory protocols,? in a flash six images of people he had never seen before came by. ?These are your targets, your mission controller should contact you swiftly. Also, your equipment is in the spire, all you have to do is touch it.?
Look at the OP to see the information that you have been given on your targets. This information will grow and expand as the RP goes on

"Hello?" Shren said as he rubbed his mouth in pain. He sighed and let the serpion curl around his arm. "May I ask who this is?" He said as he continued to rub his face. "May I ask why my head hurts?"

H sat quietly through the briefing as the others asked their questions. He had none of his own, as he only needed to be pointed in the right direction. He didn't notice the gas enter the room, but he embraced the sleep it brought. At least asleep his mind would be at peace.

When he awoke, he took a quick look around. He was one of the few awake. One was just sitting their waiting, and the other seemed to be talking to himself. H put himself off to the side where neither could see him and waited.

Unsung was used to being subdued by chemical, however the effects should have worn off much faster than normal in him.
'A new concoction?' Unsung questioned in silence.
He made no attempt to stand or move from his sprawled out position, he enjoyed the fact they had released the binds on his jacket.
He flexed his fingers and reached for "Scary", his small wooden companion.
Terror shot through his entire body. Scary was missing.
Just as Unsung was about to snap an accented voice resonated inside of his head. Informing him that his 'Friend' was locked safely inside of pillar before him.
Unsung in one sweep movement leapt to his feet and marched to the Pillar to retrieve what was his.

Angela gave a quiet moan as she slowly came too. Her head pounded with a dull pain, probably an aftereffect of whatever anesthetic had been used.

As her strength slowly came back to her, Angela pushed herself up to a sitting position and began to look around her though her vision was still a little blurry.
