Oh, yes it is very satisfying the first time through when you're playing as a noble warrior/mage or whatever, but the second time around when you want to be the evilest SOB that ever lived in Cyrodiil, you get the same bloody ending as the good guy. Question: why wouldn't the head of the Dark Brotherhood want to join with the Daedric Invasion rather than trying to stop it?
OH MY GOD. YOU ARE MY HERO.Dmatix said:KOTOR 2. the ending just isn't there...
All right fine. But my point was that if you are trying to role play the evilest little bastard that ever lived in the history of Tamriel, then it does not make sense for you to go and stop the daedric invasion. Personally, I would've liked to have been given the option to fight the daedric boss myself and take his place and end the game with an army of daedra at my command, and cackling to myself as every one in Tamriel started kissing my ass.Lullabye said:because if the daedra kill every one, he goes out of business. Once you beat the grand campagin its just a message saying "Good Job"
The game is epic though.
I agree!crazyhaircut94 said:COD4. I mean what the fuck!? No closure at all!
I second that. Honestly, basically it's "You killed all the locusts, BUTCHOO FOGOT TEH QUEEN *****!". That is most certainly not how to end a game. Really, how does the queen keep getting away? Just tag her with a tracking device (If we have something now, they damn better have it in GOW3, and it should be even better) and send tanks and shit after her.WanderFreak said:So many. Most recently, Gears of War 2 irked me quite a bit. You fight your way through hell and back, destroy humanity's last safe haven to destroy an enemy at war with itself, and essentially cause more damage to your own human race than your enemy, and all you get is "BUY GEARS OF WAR 3 TO FIND OUT WHAT EVERYTHING MEANS"
People are going to buy the game anyway, just give us a damn proper ending while you're at it.
Oh fuck you, I was going to say that.Aedwynn said:Has no-one mentioned Neverwinter Nights 2 yet?
Here we go;
Rocks fall, everyone dies.
Although to be fair, more information was given when taken with the expansion 'Mask of the Betrayer'.
Well thats not really the end of the game is it? Its much more open ended than that. Go and play the game properly before saying that thats the end.Markgraf said:I've got to agree, especially when the sole person who keeps Tamriel from going to hell, and the sole reason for your questends up being turned to stone. He leaves no heir to the throne; thereby possibly foreshadowing a brutal, devastating civil war for the throne of the country that was just saved from being ravaged by demons.stinkychops said:I've got to say Oblivion.
Well done running around completing monotonous tasks for 5 hours. Now watch me fight that huge dragon...
Maybe it was a load bearing big shadow?iain62a said:Oh fuck you, I was going to say that.Aedwynn said:Has no-one mentioned Neverwinter Nights 2 yet?

How does killing a big shadow make a massive fortress collapse anyway?
