Least Satisfying Video Game Ending

Prince of Persia had a pretty bad ending.

For me it was the ending of FF12. I felt like I was watching Star Wars IV A New Hope. When they blow up the Death star only less entertaining.

I'm voting for Fable. After finally defeating Jack of Blades, the game went just "well done!". Not even an epilogue...

And the ending of Beyond Good & Evil was rather bad too. There was no real explanation for the powers Jade appeared to have, no explanation what her link to the Domz was and worst of all, it ended with a cliffhanger after the credits.
Good thing they're finally making a sequel.

Ehhh... haven't they been 'making' that sequel for ages now and still all we have is that half-assed CGI teaser? I'm looking forward to it as well, but I won't bet money on it coming out before late in 2010... :\

If I recall it was just like a small FMV cutscene and then it puts you back at the mission select screen but there's nowhere you can go? That sucked.

Anyway, least satisfying video game ending is Supaplex. Definitely.

Yeah, that would be good... seeing as I was literally forced to buy a PC of the kind Yahtzee mentions in his Crysis review recently, that would work for me. I'm relatively certain that I paid at least part of my soul for that monstrosity.
And then there's my constant fear that when the game comes out, its only console port might be for the PS3, which I don't have... this way I'm already missing out on God of War 3 and the sequel to Shadow of the Colossus. :\

Sound off on the game you feel had the least fufilling ending you've seen. For me, it was Draken 2. Watched my sister play that game & beat it & we all agreed the ending sucked.

I'm sure he means the 2008 one. But yeah that game had two (DLC + original game) terrible endings so that one wins for me.

The ending to Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, I really wanted the game to eventually tell me what the fuck happened to Pearl and Maya and the rest, besides just Phoenix between games. I though they'd do it after the credits, but nooooooooooooooo!

Starfox Adventures on Gamecube, the same last boss from the last 2 Starfox games was pretty bad but if you save at the end your trapped in the temple and can not go anywhere else!

Lol sounds gay, but super mario galaxy. It has no ending in real terms!!

You go to save the princess, and you defeat bowser and all that, you get a crappy cutscene about some sort of cycle or whatever, then you are put back into the game to collect 60 more stars. upon doing so, you go to a new level (with both mario and luigi), collect the last of 242 stars, then get a little message on your wii message board "well done, thanks for playing from the super mario galaxy team" with a crappy picture of all the characters.

I mean come on!!

Oh, and Fallout 3's ending isn't THAT bad, at least you get the option (on pc at least) to wander around doin whatever.

They tell you that you became a legend and that the battle between good and evil never would stop. Isn't that good enough for you?
