Wow, you really are unpleasant with this whole thing, aren't you? How is what we think 'trying too hard'? I didn't say it didn't make sense, please don't put words in my mouth. But that, what you've said there, is the source of this all. Your 'common sense approach'? What exactly is that supposed to mean?

irrational from fear, emotion, or an emotional shock.
I guess I could've said explain how what I said it 'irrational', but I thought not making sense was close enough, if not the exact same thing. I'm not putting words in your mouth.
Anyways, you still didn't dispute my statement you basically are asking me to say what I've already said. It's not COMPLETELY different, if it was it wouldn't be a first person shooter thats intense and requires teamwork, it would be a mellow puzzle game you do on your own. Now is it more clear what completely different means? Yay for you, gold star!
Common sense is hard to define, but basically if two things look similar and feel similar, they're not completely different. This is common sense, most people can recognize that while a red delicious and a golden delicious are different, they are not completely different as they are both apples. While Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 are different, they are not completely different as they are both Left 4 Dead games, and essentially they play the same.
As for you guys 'trying to hard', you seem to be formulating your arguments with the hidden intent of slighting the boycotters in some way by stating "hey they believe this, but it's COMPLETELY something else". Even if they did believe that, its not completely different. AKA, you're trying too hard.
If you SERIOUSLY don't get this still then I'm not sure what to say to you. You're not my special project and I won't treat you as such. I have a lot of work to do as it is.
