Ahh, I'm glad to hear that Versus is getting a few additions. I hope Xbox 360 tards such as myself don't have to pay for the updates though; there's a chance that the update would be released as a free patch.
Maybe in a few years, the 360 hasn't had any TF2 updates yet. If Valve plans to give us the 360 L4D update at all, then it will be in a while.

This is Valve speaking, but they've stated that any PC content patches will be released at the same time (or near, it's Valve time) as the 360.

I want to see a new infected maybe, maybe a new gun or 2

Put all the campaigns in versus.

Make 2 more campaigns, the epicness and coolness such as No Mercy, that map rules

If its for free, Valve is the best developer I have seen ever, giving free content.

But if they ask for money HEY! they are just another douchebag trying to extort us from teh rest of the game.

the smoker is only useful in 2 spots that I can remember, Blood harvest right before the ambush in the finale (right before the corn field, grab the last person before he jumps down), No Mercy at the little crane elevator that takes you to the roof near a gas station. otherwise you just have to hope for a gimmick to appear that you can drag a survivor over (car alarm, witch).

They are supposed to announce the DLC soon, it is confirmed to contain Death toll and Dead Air for Versus, and more...
Well.... at least it's free.. for the PC at least.
This could turn out like valve's dispute with microsoft over free content for tf 2 content though...

Damn I hope you're right.

If I may dream, I hope they make a map set in a blizzard. That would be sweet, the clausterphobic, yet totaly open areas, while the gore splashes realistically on the fresh snow. just thinking about it gives me chills, so to speak.

You mean kind of like a "The Thing" scenario? That would be pretty good but how would they escape?

There is no escape. There is only more zombies.

I mean, logically, it would be impossible for them to ever really escape.

ummmmm, CHOPPA! Get to the CHOPPA!

Their could be a choppa to pick them up, or they hit up a boat to get them out of the artic, or try to get a jumbo jet to work that crashlanded. I dunno.

Gentlemen, gentlemen. You're all wrong.

They would escape using dogsleds. Duh.

I would love to see a campaign where you have to escape through a theme park. Can you imagine? Zombie clowns wandering around, having to activate a carousel to carry you to the other side of the area, a roller coaster crashing right near the end of the finale... It would be so intense, and so very awesome.

No, you don't, actually. The only thing I'd like to see added as an additional melee option; you'd only be able to hit one zombie, but it'd be an instant kill attack. Or perhaps a different kind of pistol that couldn't be dual-wielded or was just an upgrade from the starter pistol. I myself hope for a 2019 Detective's Special, but there's been few enough games to use that particular weapon, and I don't think Valve will go through the trouble of procuring the rights to that particular firearm.

NO, I am NOT thinking of Bikinis!

And a crowbar,
and zombie ducks.

Well if you think that there are, oh, 6 billion people in the world, let's say that 50% are turned, and it would be safe to assume that 24% would be consumed before being turned. So that leaves 1% alive and healthy, immune to the virus or just plain uninfected. There is NOWHERE in the world where one could survive indefinitely with such insurmountable odds. Everywhere there would be zombies. No where would be safe.

And a random chopper won't just be flying over the city every time, you know.

Anyway, we got off the topic of the thread. I think I'll go make "Is a zombie survival logically possible?" thread.

I could so dig, a theme park level or campaign, maybe add a special special infected, the strong man or something like, the wolf rapist freak, who beats the shit out of u 30 points a swing.

Or the carnie, who just ripps off your money.

OR the screamer, who collectively stuns everyone within ground zero of this scream for like 3-4 seconds, with a 20 second cooldown, however he would have to be next/near really close to them.

*counts on fingers* I think you left out an entire 25% in that little calculation of yours. Whoever they are they must be the lucky ones.

MY MATH FAILS *facepalm*

I changed the math around halfway through because I realized that not everyone believes in an airborne strain. :p

Forgot the change the WHOLE thing.
