No, there'll never be more than 1 spawned in an area. A witch and a tank is a little uncomfortable, though.

All the time. If you're doing well on versus, for some reason the game seemed to like dropping a witch and a tank on you at the same time. Presumably this is supposed to be fixed in the upcoming (possibly already released) patch. Also, in versus it seems that there is an odd trend of the witch spawning in places that make conflict unavoidable.

in the airport level a witch was placed outside the door to the safe room and all my computer pals ran strait past and dove in the room and the witch didnt do any thing but when i went to go in the room it killed me so i started the level again and blew all my pals up with a pipe bomb

Not verses, it just doesn't work in that mode for some reason.

I've seen it done on versus, only problem is 9/10 times someones parked a boomer next to her lol.

Alas you don't need to crown her for an easy kill. If the first auto shot fails, the second one usually does the job.

Well, first of all, I'd imagine shooting it many, many times would be the answer to your dilemma. Otherwise, get a Boom! Headshot!

Same thing he said. (For those who don't know it you sneak up on a witch with an autoshotty. If you have your light off and havn't been shooting you should be able to get pointblank before starling her. At pointblank 1 shot to the head) If none of you have an autoshotty though a few shots from regular shotgun is fun too. As well as a Molotolv.(which is the bur the witch achievement)

I tried this tactic 5 times on the HIghest Difficulty Settings and failed numerous times.
This tactic just simply doesn't work.

The best tactic I know of is that every teammate concentrates fire on her. Then she dies fairly quickly, specially if you have 2 guys on your team with assault rifles.

Just go 3...2...1 and everyone start shooting at her until she's dead.
This doesn't work well intight spaces though...

Bad tactic, you can crown a witch on ANY difficulty level, Pro tip get someone who doesnt use an analog stick =P
What i like to do is sneak up her front, it brings you closer to her head.

You should talk to her, let her know that you feel for her. Let her know that you're even OK with her being a homicidal emo zombie. Perhaps you should bring chocolates, or small animals as edible tokens. She would particularly appreciate pants and a nail file.

Stand back a bit and unload a hunting rifle before she sees you. You won't get cr0wned, but you will get witchhunter.

Damn there are too many replies for me to read right now.

I have NEVER seen that work outside of playing the game on easy.

I've done it, once, on my first try. I've tried 15 times since and have never been able to pull it off.

No, although the hunting rifle does stun her if you shoot before she gets pissed and keep shooting. That + atleast 2 nearby auto-shotguns is a tactic I've seen effective, assuming you have the guns.
