A man is going to have a child with his grandmother, now, be it above me to question love, but surely every fiber of a person's being (at least on a genetic level) should be against this sort of thing happening.

I fully expect some escapists stuyding psychology to lay the some Freudian smackdown on this case.

Would do you guys think? I think we can agree that it's wrong, but a surrogate mother is being used, so it's not technically inbreeding.
Edit: Read the bold, this is not really incest, but the discussion is this. Is loving a family member is such a way, regardless of babies, surrogate or otherwise, considered wrong?

You guys realise the only reason you find it wrong is because its been socially ingrained in you to think its wrong?

It's also wrong on a genetic level. Evolution rewards diversity, nothing is gained through inbreeding except degenerative mutation. So it appears that nature also thinks it is wrong.

That's where I sort of agree with you. She isn't having his child, so it's not really inbreeding. Socially it is unacceptable, but they are both adults. Who are we to question love?
