Yaaaaay! My syndrome didn't kill everyone! Great update, Internet Kraken. Looking forward to the next one.
congrats lemur, root! hey kraken,just a quick nquestion, what size was your worldgengen and what numbber of beasts? you seam to be chewing through fbs quite nicely. like i said, it is possible that eventually you'll kill them all, if beasts are low enough and the world is small enough.

Nobles don't exist in the current Dwarf Fortress game, at least not in the way you are probably thinking. Perhaps you are thinking of the old versions where you had nobles like guild masters and tax collectors visit the fort. Such NPCs no longer exist. The only nobles you have are your own self-appointed leader, and in rare cases the king/queen and their consort.vallorn said:

Root currently carries a spear and shield in addition to two infants and somehow manages to use them properly. No, I don't know how that works. Dwarves are determined fighters and find a way.sheic99 said:

In addition, Kraken's just engraved a Statue garden overlooking the bedrooms in my Fortress. It shows a picture of me cuddling two warthogs.

One thing...What's a good way to set up wells? I always keep getting stuck without the nasty water despite numerous areas to drink from.

My dwarf continues to be far more sucessfull than me. He's an accomplished soldier who's happily married and has two kids. I'm a single warehouse worker living in his parents basement who does nothing but work, party, listen to music and play videogames.
So I requested a dwarfing like 20 pages ago and never got put on the list.
Seeing as how I forgot about this thread for a few weeks and come back to see you've had multiple calls for dwarfing, I am disappointed. =P

I guess I should hold my name up on the Dwarfing Block and hope nothing too harsh descends on it. I expect Hauling. After all there isn't a job for DF Modding.
Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm going to College tomorrow and haven't felt much like writing. I'm not sure when I'll pick this back up but it probably won't be until I get situated there.
