I just decided to come back and see the dead thread in order to lay down some flowers, then I saw it was active again and I almost died.

Damn kids these days, they do not know what's good for them. IN MY DAY, WE HAD TO RUN FROM GIANT STONE MONSTER MEN WHO SWEATED POISON IN ORDER TO GET SHIT DONE. WHAT DO YOU DO NOW? I AM BLIND FOR WHAT? A ROCK. IN MY DAYS, ROCKS WERE OUR ONLY FOOD. I DID ALL THAT FOR FOOD YOU BASTARDS.

Just wondering, how old is Alpha? I want to continue making him out as if he is an old man :|

It's a terrifying tropical ocean bordered by a savage savannah. It's hot year round which is why we have never had a single drop of rain. The savannah itself isn't haunted though so the creatures coming from it aren't undead. Not the most brutal place you could embark on but it isn't exactly pleasant either.

Also I know I haven't made any updates lately. I could make a big list of all the reasons but it basically boils down to a lot of work me not feeling like writing. I can't guarantee I'm going to make another update anytime soon either. One of the conditions I set for myself when college started was that I wouldn't force myself to update the LP. It isn't enjoyable for me and the updates that come from doing so aren't very good.

Having been through hell today, I can concur. I'm pushing myself to do Nanowrimo, and it is a push at the moment. The detective is meeting up with a lot of revenge fantasies, which I'll edit out later

If it has stopped been fun then no-one is forcing you to continue, but I would lose one of my favouite LP's or maybe you could pass it on to Root (if she wants it) for a while or permanently. Also what is Nanawrimo?

Having spent most of my free time in the past week reading this LP, I wanted to commend Internet Kraken for what I've so far found to be one of the best LPs of Dwarf Fortress I've read so far. I've passed the 100 episode mark, but still have about 20 pages to go. From what I can gather, Kraken is feeling less than enthusiastic about this project as of late, and while I think it'd be a pity to see it die, I doubt anyone would resent you for it, Kraken. Still, for what it's worth, I think you're doing a good job of it, and I've enjoyed my time reading your adventures immensely. Having tried DF only once after reading the Boatmurdered LP, I am amazed that you can get this far and not fuck everything up. There may have been close calls, but you're still a better man than I. Kudos.

Also, if the LP continues and you need more people to dwarfify, I'd love to have my name on the list.

actually, he said he is at college and it was during the holidays the recent updates popped up, and you do tend to get shitloads of homework at college, so he may simply not have the time.
