Also, as a side note, I'd like to do a bit of side writing like Viking Incognito is, but I can't think of anything to write about really. Anyone have any ideas?
You could do the same thing Viking is doing, but different topics he hasn't covered, plus I would assume you have different views and opinions so it would be slightly different.

Or you could something more for fun, like countdowns or something?

His main topic is philosophy, so I'd rather not overlap on that. I'm not very good with "hard" science, and my area of study is law. I mean, there isn't much of a legal system in the wasteland, other than Vae victis ("Woe to the vanquished", IE "Might Makes Right"

You know, I could do an analysis on the rights of man in the wasteland, or proposed documentation as such.

You could do that, also you don't have to have some degree in philosophy to give your opinion on various characters and factions throughout the series.

Eh, if you wanna see my philosophy, just read John Locke and Ayn Rand while high on painkillers. That'll give you my view.

I won't be able to get out an update today, I apologize. I should be able to get back to the old schedule of an update every day, just have been more busy than usual lately.

Is everything going OK?

Oh, and I decided what I'm going to write about. I'm going to write an analysis on the Bill of Rights from the Post-War view. So I guess I'll be a scribe too

Oh, everything is fine right now. Just a bit more busy than usually lately, should be able to get back on track tomorrow.

Write it up when you get the chance, and I'll be sure to add a link to it in the opening post.

I'm going to write it, but I'm also going to include examples involving the NCR. That alright in a Fallout 3 thread?

Absolutely fine. Once I actually get to doing New Vegas, I think I'll be using the same thread anyway.

Very well.

Also, I'll be going over the first 27 amendments, because I don't know if canonically, any more are added, or how the diversion occurred. However, 22-27 really aren't all that important, save for the 26th

So yeah, I'll try to have that up soon.

If they were written before WWII, then they should still exist in the Fallout world. The Fallout world started to diverge from out own around about WWII.

As for an additions, I don't know of anything.

Since WWII we had 22-27. None of those, save the 26th, have any real day-to-day bearing.

I mean, 22 is just a president term limit, 23 gives electoral votes to DC, 24 gets rid of the poll tax, 25 defines the succession for president, and 27 affects congressional pay. 26 lowers the voting age to 18, but that's really moot in the wasteland.

Maybe not in the NCR, they have voting, and I would assume they would also have some kind of voting rules and rights.

The only problem with that is I can't find anything on their system of government. I mean, the NCR is (from what I've heard) a Constitutional Republic, but I can't find their constitution.

Yeah, I don't think the constitution has ever been shown, though they more than likely do have one.

Therein lies my problem: I can't really review something I don't have in front of me. Doubtlessly, though, they have something to the tune of the Second Amendment.

Could you maybe just look at the politics of the Fallout world as a whole? Not just the law side of it?

Maybe you could analyse the factions and people and comment on their way of life, laws, society and/or political views.

I guess I'm moreso the Legal side of the Poli-Sci than the ethical or practical side.

As I said, I'll likely write something on how each of the NV factions fits into a Nolan position when he LPs New Vegas.

KK then, that's a post for another day.

It's kinda funny, considering that puts Caesar's Legion at Conservatives. They are though, aren't they?
