Playing a competition CoD4 scrim on Crash and getting 16 assists with a sniper rifle because it would tag but not kill even when I was getting them full on in the chest or I'd get a tag on the head and it wouldn't kill. Made me want to spontaneously combust

I'd break Ninja Gaiden down into more specific terms:

Alma. Fight.
Yes this. This so damn much. She was one evil, evil boss. Also probably Sweet Tooth on Twisted Metal 4 (the circus level) just because of his god damned special. Argh. The game itself was okay just not as good as 1,2,Black and Head-On but a big improvement over 3.

I literally gave myself a headache from playing Street Fighter IV on Medium. MEDIUM. I spent more than two hours trying to beat Arcade, and eventually gave up on the final boss. Any character who specializes in throws is particularly cheap (Abel and Zangief, for example), because they can interrupt your attacks with them and can use them instantly without the 360-degree stick rotation. (For the record, I have no idea how you're supposed to do Zangief's spinning pile driver without jumping.)

And then the final boss. I could beat his first round pretty consistently, but then the second round, I could land maybe TWO hits and then he would counter-spam and rape me with his version of Shoryuken.

Metal Gear Solid 3 Eva escort mission. I was barely able to stop myself from ripping open the disk tray of my PS2 and snapping the disk in half.

Ninja Gaiden for me as well, but not the Alma fight. That was strangely way easier than people made it out to be. The giant skeleton dragon boss was the thing that pissed me off the most. Had terrible dodging skills and always got hit by those giant flying bones.

COD4, One shot one kill on veteran. I spent the entire time swearing at my computer. I stuck to hardened difficulty during World at War.

Mile high club on veteran but since I'm pretty sure someone else said that. The first boss fight in turok dinosaur hunter. I don't know his name, but you had to kill two jeeps then this guy with an energy weapon. I died loads and since my N64 was partially broken I couldn't save so it mean starting over again if I lost all my lives. It was still a great game though.

the second wasteland level in LBP and the first canyons level, and the whole city levels a lot of that game struck me as suprisingly challanging.

Homeworld - Bridge of Sighs.

I can't tell you how many times I played this map before I gave up, went online, and figured out I should be salvaging that huge sphere of ion frigates. Even after realized what I should be doing it took 3 or 4 more tries to get my technique down for the salvaging... In no other level was running out of fuel a pain in the butt but in that one I had to refuel regularly.

I had to go and get the best Tiger amulet I could to beat fatty Meng Huo... 7 times... (DW: 4 Battle of Nanman)

Oh and NFS:MW - Earl final race.

I actually required a burst of adrenaline during that race because it was so difficult - ive never raced so hard in my entire life but overtaking him in mid-air was my highlight from any racing game.

Seth, Zangief, and Abel break Street Fighter IV for me.

I mean its good to have variety, but sometimes unblockable, undodgeable bullshit shouldn't come in such a thick bullshit that SF 4 brings to the table.

Seriously, I can see the Hardcore tournaments just be Abel vs. Zangief, Zangief vs. Seth, Seth vs. Seth(etc.)...

This is really long so I dont know if these have been done:

I Wanna Be The Guy The Movie: The Game. Every single SCREEN! Look it up and dowload it and see what I mean.

Afro Samurai: Not a level but a part. You have to cut a rope. I spent twenty minutes trying to cut it to no avail. And I still never cut it.
