Ehehe, though with sex ed a pretty standard part of school curriculum for a while now, I wonder how many kids are successfully dodging that talk now, I know I managed it.

Awesome, I'll be laughing for like 15 next minutes.
Anyway The Talk is awkward for anyone (especially if it goes horribly, horribly wrong)
I'm glad I learn anything I need from books and porn, NOT from my parents (and yes there were attempts)

FWIW, I lived at home into my 20s, and also didn't get any in high school. So, it's not like we're making a statement with the video.
Those are just societal norms we're going from. "Norms" in heavy quotation marks.
That's good to know, I will write that down somwhere

I lived at home till I was about 25-ish, but I also wasn't a virgin. I also never brought dates home for overnights, because that would have been just rude and a bit too disrespectful to my more conservative parents.

I wrote a story for an erotic comics anthology called "Smut Peddler" [http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ironspike/the-smut-peddler-pre-order-project] which featured an anniversary party for a bohemian older couple. I believe I may have to incorporate these two characters into the background fanon for my own characters.

This is my second attempt at writing this comment as I couldn't type properly, I was laughing so hard!
Kathleen's scripts are always insane- I love them! :D

It was priceless watching Paul get more and more uncomfortable and mortified, and then....
it escalated like nobody's business!!

I am now mortally afraid of (cold) zucchinis....

EDIT:

Also, great acting from everyone!
Kathleen was brilliant as the terrifyingly frank old lady!

2, Virginity is a choice. I do not need too worry about unexpected pregnancies, or STDs, I can focus on finding a good stable relationship built on communication instead of sex.
I'm reminded of a comedian who said "I don't get into relationships for sex. But if I bought a house, I didn't buy that house specifically for the bathroom, but if you suddenly removed that bathroom I'd be mighty upset!"

Good luck on your journey but it'll be quite a long search.

Graham and Kathleen: you really didn't have the foresight to realize just how much fan fiction is going to be written involving leather and that zucchini?

Societal norms as they are presented to us through media, which is to say very different from societal norms we lived through but incredibly similar to the life we pretended we were having to impress other people. Inspired by said media. Those other people were also, nine times out of ten, making it up. The nature of the cycle is pretty fucking ridiculous.

I'd say something like "damn, I sure don't miss being a teenager!" but I'm in my mid-twenties now and that bullshit is still happening. Does it ever stop, I wonder?

OT: Kathleen's silvery wig I understand, but Graham's dead animal? Offputting. It was naught but fringe!

This was no where as bad as when my father tried to give me the talk after my wife was pregnant.

Well she bloody well SHOULD!
I'm not sure writing terrible fanfic is a crime.

Though it should be.

It is not a long search at all. Christian dating sites have narrowed the field down considerably. Also, in my interpretation of God's word, Sex in and of itself is the covenant of marriage. Meaning, once you have sex, you are married. The only difference is that there are fewer Earthly consequences for breaking up.

Take note of Earthly, Divorce is still a sin. So if you have Sex with someone and break-up, or sleep with someone else, it is still a sin.

Wait, where you going? Have you heard the good news of Jesus Christ? He taught many things that help you lead a better life. John 3:16.

That is a *facepalm* on so many levels. I know it is a joke, but not a funny one.
