No attraction. No rejection. Strange stillness.
I haven't found myself attracted to women, nor did I find myself attracted to men.
Nothing clicks. It'll come at some point, but I'm not forcing myself to want something. Still in my teens, we'll wait and see.
i'm in my teens and i'm incredibly attracted to everyone.

OT: because i'm a dick. and all the guys i've met are either straight or in the closet. but mostly, i'm a dick.

Because I have ineffible unrealistic standards that women continually fail to meet. I become a disinterested asshole when I realize there is little point in continuing efforts towards someone who can't meet any of them. And the real world consistently get's in the way for those who might be able to.

I'm a busy man, and I've got no time for people that can't construct a sentence... use the phrase "you know" every other god damn word... have the personality of a wet dish cloth... have no creativity or passion in bed... and who feel the need to have others convince them how great they are.

The dating world is filled with selfish self centered egotistical morons that have no sense of individualism and common courtesy. And you wonder why people can't find love in a method that scrutinizes, chastises and judges people in every area of their lives. Ironically coupled with a society that caters to pairs.

What a near pointless game to play.

What makes me afraid to try?

STD's.

Im not joking, the town I live in should just have a sign saying "Dont screw anyone here".

That being said, I'm also currently processing for the U.S. Army, once that is done I will be gone for around 16 weeks, then I might go to expanded training depending on how I do in BCT and AIT, which could end up being between 9 to 14 more weeks. then I would only have about two weeks to myself before I get my first station orders and have to move to wherever the Army sends me.

so if I got into a relationship right now, she would have to be patient and understanding with what Im doing, and from the girls I have met, there are none that are either patient OR understanding.

So, here's hoping that after everything is done with, I might meet someone.
Is your town the modern equivilent of Innsmouth? :p

OT: Because Im socialy awkward.
Still I will always have my good friend http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view

I have a face that has broken a camera (I am speaking 100% truthfully, in 7th grade they had "technical difficulties" with my photo). Not even a Porsche can counter that (an '87 944S, perhaps it is not high end enough to include the chick magnet or else it has stopped working sometime before I got it).

Also I don't got out and do much, for this hicktownvillburg that I live in has nothing to do besides go to bars. Since I don't drink, that takes that out of the equation.

Until I am in my mid-twenties, have a steady job and my own place I feel that a relationship is pointless, at my age I just want to enjoy meaningless sex, irresponsible spending and heavy drinking. Love is a mature thing that takes a long time to develop and I just don't feel like looking for it or putting any effort in to a long term relationship at the moment.

mainly the problems i have with smoking and drinking and drugs. being a teenager in high school, where everybody is doing it and i'm just kinda looking down at them as stupid children. makes it hard. also, i won't even lie. i'm a bit shallow with looks, Have a very particular type of woman i enjoy. Also, i don't really tolerate stupidity or drama. i've been forced to mature past my years so while everyone is growing up still i'm waiting at the finish line for them And that basically it is.

Well, I have found love. I just lost it, eventually, and haven't found it again since. It just hasn't come my way.

I'm constantly surrounded by women (my uni course had a ratio of ten women to every one guy), I get along with women fine and talking to them is not a problem. I'm just not a risk taker, don't want to put my neck out in fear of rejection. Add to that the fact I'm fairly oblivious to any signals given, a girl could have 'I like you' stamped on her forehead and I wouldn't notice. An effective combo which means I wont try anything till I'm certain but I'm too socially unaware to notice any interest.

Also last time I was with someone it ended a little messy which does not help.
Well I can tell you its not all lost. My (now) wife pretty much DID stamp "I like you" on herforhead (It was actually on her msn pic), at which point after sitting there wondering if it was pointed at me, I asked her, leading to an awkward conversation resulting in me having my first date :p

I find many women that I've met to be ineffably boring? And the women I don't find boring find me boring? I feel uncomfortable in tactile situations? I've never dated anyone? I've got some self-confidence problems? Pick my poison. All of them are true.

I could probably get away with something like "It's pointless for me right now" or "I'm just not that interested", but it's less of that and more of my tendency to get "friend-zoned" pretty quickly. I try to be that shoulder-to-lean-on good guy friend, which basically puts me off-limits. I usually don't mind at all, but it's bitten me in the arse once or twice.

Im not sure, exactly, never been to Innsmouth.

But during the '80's and '90s, my town had a bad deal with drugs, people got Hepatitis and several other diseases that never really went away.

its bad enough that I don't even actually look for a girlfriend anymore here, going back to my original post, instead Im just going to wait until Im done with everything and move away.
He he, Innsmouth is a place from 'Shadow over Innsmouth' by H.P. Lovecraft, Give it a try its good :p

A Hermit's Cave
Right... where to start...

I'm a chronic major depressive with quite a strong inferiority complex and I seem to be only attracted to women who are psychologically damaged (and physically scarred, though that's more of a fetish). While I am socially competent, little depresses me more than the happiness of others. I'm fairly average looking and diffident, though I'm on record as being described as potentially a terrible boyfriend, or a perfect husband. I'm foul tempered and when I calm down, I become deeply depressed for anything up to days, and as difficult as I find it, I keep a decidedly firm leash on my anger.

And I am unable to break my love for my ex-girlfriend.
