Off topic, this Xeed guy needs to lighten up and stop trying to espouse his silly anarchistic agenda.
I am not an anarchist. I am a socialist libertarian, which I believe anarchism would naturally blossom into.

1. people need food, water, energy, etc.

2. sharing all resources and knowledge allows maximum cooperative efficiency

3. creating an abundance of all our needs makes money, gov, crime obsolete

4. automating the production distribution, frees up humanity to no longer be wage slaves to governments or corporations

These four points would be recognized by direct democracy that is connected by the internet; 99% of the world's problems would quickly evaporate.

I think we should try staying on topic and stop veering wildly off into political matters. We must remember that this story is all about one hacker group trying to pwn another and invoking much irony in the process, and not which system of governance is better than other systems.

As much as I hate lulzsec (and to anyone who likes them, imagine they stole your credit card info) I don't feel much better about team poison. They hacked lulzsec because "LulzSec isn't a real hacking group as they use bots and scripts to do all the work for them," not because they are a bunch of thieves and criminals. I wouldn't be surprised if these guys started a new lulzsec once the old one is gone.

Well it was only a matter of time before hackers piss off other hackers and in turn get hacked. Anti-Internet vigilante vigilantism FTW!

And so it has begun...the great hackbattle of our time...

In all seriousness I just hope that team poison, in their attacks on lulzsec doesn't become the NEXT lulzsec otherwise I like this, fight fire with fire
I don't think that will happen. They were pretty clear in the message they put on Lulzsec's web site that they were completely against LulzSec and everything they stand for. Team Poison basically told Lulzsec they are not and will never be true hackers, and so deserve whatever fate they get. And I say bravo to them. I can see the point lulzsec was trying to make, but they crossed too many lines they simply didn't have to.

LulzSec is making way too many enemies way too quickly to have any staying power. Everyone involved had better set sail for jail.

Did they even hack Lulzsec? They used an exploit to get into a wordpress blog that may or may not be linked to Lulzsec. They didn't even hack the server...of course the only source for this info is the guy who got hacked...so dunno how reliable that is haha

I'll try to interview them and ask them why they did it, but I know what answer I'm gonna get.

That's it, the Internet needs to worship Team Poison:

Video Series:
THE ULTIMATE MEGA SUPER ULTRA AWESOME GODLY JESUS LEVITATING BUNNY DROPPING EGGS ON LULZEC WHILST SCREAMING OUT INSULTS YAHTZEE MADE UP Battle between Team Poison and Lulzec. Updated on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

They need ads:
This week, Lulzec get bum raped by Team Poison.
Hopefully it is the end for Lulzec, those retards are getting what's coming for them.
They laughed in the face of bum rape for too long, and then they were told to turn around and bend over.

Or maybe it's a card game:
Team Poison hacks the sewage plant and floods the houses of all the Lulzec members. +1 Damage
Lulzec gets angry and tries to re-hack the sewage plant. +1 Damage
Team Poison un-hacks the re-hack of the hack and floods the houses even more +3 Damage, block the +1 Damage.

Team Poison win!

...Do you know how wrong and silly this statement is? They have done plenty. Released passwords and emails by yanking them right out of servers. True it was basic level SQL injections which i cant fathom personally, but its led to the hilarious defacement of peoples Failbook pages. So no. They dont 'only' DDoS. But it makes a good smokescreen.

You know that "cheering" thing? You're doing it wrong.

This is very good news. It's like an insane maniac who thinks they are doing good to then be crushed by a silent hero. Go TeamPoison.

That's surely a bit excessive seeing as we don't know if they really DID hack into LulzSec's stuff. If they did, then good on them, but if they didn't, which is more than likely the case here, then they need to either drop some dox or GTFO

I'm afraid I have some bad news for you: Even if you provide every single person on the planet with everything they could ever possibly need or desire, crime and disorder will still exist. People will always commit crimes. People will always want to hurt each other, for some reason or another. It doesn't matter if they live in a penthouse suite made of pure gold--people will be people, and inevitably somebody is going to want someone dead.

Also, if money is obsolete, why on earth would people want to work? Why would anyone want to spend time helping to maintain these facilities and fix things when they break beyond the point that automated systems can repair them? Who will continue to learn and know about what runs these automated facilities, in case something needs to be replaced or upgraded.

Oh, and that's another thing: what about technological development? How does that fit into your utopian society? Do these fully automated facilities that apparently find and gather raw materials, process them, and ship them with no human oversight necessary even in the most catastrophic meltdown situations, what about growth? Can they build buildings too? Can they be altered and changed by users to fit their needs?

And now that has got me wondering: What happens if, say, all of this does exist and nobody is required to actually learn to maintain the facilities and be obligated to help when things break (since, you know, jobs, government, and money don't exist) and some yahoo decides to sabotage it. For no reason at all, for shits and giggles. For the "Lulz," if you will. Catastrophic meltdowns everywhere, and nobody knows how to fix anything because nobody is required or expected to do anything. What then? A total collapse of society?

Oh, wait. I bet that will be anticipated by the big facilities too, right? To stop and prevent the actions of saboteurs. But...wait a minute...that sounds a lot like a government, doesn't it? Hm...

BUT! Who am I kidding. You're just bein' a little troll, aren't you? Stirring people up because this LulzSec thing is the hot topic right now. How cute. Either way, they'll be setting sail for jail soon, so we have very little to worry about. Have a good night~

This will be quite interesting, i personally hope that Team Poison wins over LulzSec, though at the same time i hope that IF they win that they won't end up in the same "boat" as LulzSec, turning them into hypocrites.

Which is why I said 99% and not 100%.

People, despite what has been drummed into you since childhood, do not have to be motivated by money to work. The motivations that should be for work, would be in this system: Work for purpose, for creative outlet, for cooperation and for accomplishment. I believe Japan and China are very close to perfecting this but of course they are harried by those in power.

People are not as assholish as you think.

Eventually technology will allow 99% automation, until then, yes, there will need to be lots of human oversight. You see we can eliminate a shit load of jobs and allow for automation with a smaller number of people working in oversight, but we are not because that would cause our current system to collapse.

What then? A total collapse in society?
When did I ever say nobody is expected to do anything? People would seek education and work they enjoy or feel purposeful doing. As long as a necessary function exists, in a properly educated society there will be people pursuing the education to fulfill that function.

Oh, wait. I bet that will be anticipated by the big facilities too, right? To stop and prevent the actions of saboteurs. But...wait a minute...that sounds a lot like a government, doesn't it? Hm...
No, that sounds like law enforcement, which is not "government" as it does not actually "govern", but serves the people.

Yes this is the 1902843102th time lulzsec got pwned and its definitely legit because something must make losers feel better about themselves and whats best than hearing that someone that is better than them(l33t haxor skillz lul u dont haz) get pwned....

humans in order to feel better about their sad self (through comparison)they will degrade everyone who is against them and/or hurts them. They will nitpick everything they can find, they are gonna attack him for his area of residence to his "gramer" and ethics

For that simple reason, i support lulzsec. because ppl like them shouldnt exist and lulzsec shouldnt even be a problem to care about. But if they get annoyed by something they shouldnt even care they deserve to suffer as much as the greedy companies they target
That's an extremely backwards opinion you have there.

I think you don't understand why exactly people hate them. For one, they destroyed a bunch of gamers hobby for a good month, and the reason they presented was completely weak. Sure, they attack greedy companies. But by comparison, the companies they attack only end up truly hurting the consumer.

I don't give two fucks that I can't hack, and I have no intention of ever doing so or caring to do so. Plus, there is no need to degrade them. Someone who ruins my entertainment (though admittedly, I don't own a PS3) purely for "the lulz" is a complete assbag. It's barely even an opinion.

Why should we not care about it? If my swimming pool was closed down because a group of kids kept dumping poisonous chemicals in it for fun, I have every damn right to be pissed at them. If something you loved to do in your downtime was destroyed, you'd most likely whine more than the people on here. I'm sure if I took the time to look through your posts I could find something you bitched about.

Your point is completely moot.

Finally. I hope Anon joins in on this. Moral of this story: just because you can, doesn't mean it's funny.
And the worst part is that they CAN'T. It's like the ten-year-old that downloads the LOIC and calls himself a leet haxorz.

In my not-so-humble opinion, script kiddies are just crap.
