Um... technically it is I guess. Considering you two were pretty much in the same state, I doubt just coming out with the real reason wouldn't hurt your chances. I know a few people who turned one-night stands into relationships.

I don't think they take it seriously for 17 year olds, to the point of laughing parents out of court for it, but women, thriving off drama and attention, will inevitably make a big deal about it. She may not initially, but you can bet her friends will, after which she will agree with them.

To be honest, i would just bask in the glory of your victory and move on. There's plenty of other women, and they're not really that different in the end.
