This is great but no doubt there will be 'moralists' objecting to this.
Whats immoral about this? They used the guys own cells to heal him! They basically just sped up the guys own healing process. Anyone who objects something like this is a moron, unless we didn't get all the facts and they are actually doing something else to help the burns. But that just sounds crazy.....right?

This is brilliant. I wish I was motivated enough to pursue a field in medical science. I'd love to still be learning things in my 40's at uni.(I'm 20)

Who do I have to light on fire to get me one of these?

Seriously, this is an official win for science. Let's see those anti stem cell research dick weeds argue against THIS!

Then we can light them on fire.

That is absolutely amazing. 4 days and it's almost completely healed. Plus as far as I could tell there was virtually no scarring whatsoever. Really great work that scientist.

also Captcha: orkencou Core with an umlaut over the "o". FFS

How does it taste?
):
I burnt my tongue on some hot tea the other night and i still cant taste anything....
Well, you won't taste anything after having a layer of skin over it. Those taste buds would get covered.

Not to sound so skeptical, but does anyone else find it odd that they don't show pictures of Matt Uram's wounds? They show what second degree burns look like, but they aren't Uram's. Where is the evidence?

On the other hand, I'm frickin' amazed and excited if this is real.

While I want to know that as well and even see stages of it in the healing process. I don't think they are lying as they are on National Geographic.

But man those Scientist are awesome. Rather than just sitting around and wishing for things they actually invent those things so they don't have to wish for it anymore.

Maybe one day we'll all be given robotic implants that can do this automatically. Science ftw.

...Why are people opposed to the use of stem-cells again?

The moment this thing is fully functional and accessible to the masses, someone will find a way of incorporating it into porn...I'm already getting nightmares.

Very nice, I can't wait till it's an everyday thing to get repaired in a fraction of the time it currently takes.
