Guitar Hero. except with a real freakin guitar. I'm a guitarost and am pretty decent but even i think it would be fun if you could plug your real guitar into the tv and play with some backing tracks. Guitar heroes depress me at how off they are..... need a real one!

A game where you play as a female ninja that is avenging her whole village which was burned down by the Korean and she was the sole survivor.

I would like to see an MMORPG where you are trying to survive a zombie apocalypse. The class system will decide whether you, hunt zombies, defend your safehouse, hunt for supplies, rescue survivors, etc. The world could be a very small town and you respawn randomly in a vacant part of the map. It will be your job to find other players and team up with them to find the nearest safehouse and fortify it and find survivors and rescue them.

Probably not the most original idea, but I think it'd be a great game to play online and instead of just plowing through hordes of zombies like every other game, this would be a bit more tactical and slower paced.

Ironfist.

You play as a cruel, harsh dictator. To fend off would be enemies, you must conscript your army from the poor peasant farmers, and turn them into killing machines.

There is a in depth choice system. Choose the harsh route, forcing them to work hard and pay heavy taxes. The strong route, Hurl them all into battle armed or unarmed until you take the line. Or, the peaceful approach, which will have you assassinated instantly by a man named "Black Ivan"

I'm thinking a game called "Dynasty" or something similar. Game play has different parts encompassing some RPG story, Dynasty Tactics 2 TBS and Dynasty Warriors Action. The 2 battles ascend different types of levels, the TBS mode ascends the characters ability to control the army, but leave the individual weak, the Action battles strengthen the character but leave the army over all weaker. Magic, technology and good old fashioned sword and shields are available, adding a fantasy element.

Story comprises of a kingdom at war, you're the heir to the throne (surprise). "Choice 2.0" runs rampant through the game, ascending to the throne to early causes civil war (on top of the previous war) with counselors who think you're over stepping your boundaries, however taking to long results in a civil war because other counselors think you're to weak to ascend to the throne, so timing the ascension to the throne or the untimely death of the king is required for making war easier. Story given from the RPG mode out of battle/between battles, delves into the beginning of the war, the future of the war and the two kingdoms, RPG mode triggers Action styled battles with varying numbers of ninja's, pirates, wizards and combination's of the three if you decide to try negotiations or search for secret weapons and powerful characters.

I want this game so much I cry

It does appear that in your story, you started getting like me "or whatever".
It seems very common to lose enthusiasm half-way through something.

I am confused as to how being smarter and more dexterous than other people whilst having a physical appearance that marks you as being such would result in you being removed from society.

Maybe the story could've been more like:

This gene makes people smarter and faster, but a power hungry organisation, publicly known as Valentine Medicare, brainwashes and enslaves almost all known Strums and trains them for military use, the public story being that they are helping all Strums with whatever issues they may have with being a Strum.

Soon, an army big enough to occupy the city is made out of enslaved Strums and they are forced to displace all non-Valentine personal so as to allow for the conversion of the city into a giant Valentine facility.
Many factories are built for military equipment like tanks, armour and weapons.

The city is fully fortified and Valentine is almost ready to field test their Strum soldiers, now that the initial test, Project Ubermensch, has proved so successful.
Unquestioningly loyal, intimidating in appearance, intelligent and fast, the Strum soldiers could most certainly put a damper on any one's spirits...

The main character, only a little girl, has been freed by a guilty Valentine scientist and given a unique weapon allowing her to remove slave collars from her fellow Strum, making her the center of a massive internal resistance movement.

That does sound very interesting, although in some places I got a little confused, are the people diagnosed with windsturm isolated and evicted to the far off places, or does the general population live in the special zones?

I like what you're saying about the abilities, but, with what drakenabarion has laid out, I think that the symptoms should be what he said however, the advertisements of the disease have a selection of your symptoms to, namely aggressive, stronger etc. making the population fear the infected and act as motivation to have them taken away, which could also kind of link to finding out who "the real villain is"

I know, I just wanted to put a group in there seeking to exploit a new resource, a new type of human, for the old type of reason.

Thanks for the feedback. The idea was quick to form in my mind, but the more I typed, the more difficult I found it to continue typing coherently.

A few things in the back story that I was trying to create was:
1) There is a divide in society that would be similar to that from Xmen, but where the motion of separating the normal people from the affected people has been implemented.

2) I didn't want the differences in normal people and affected people to be an extreme special powers. I wanted it to be a society where the affected people are discriminated unjustly and only out of fear, with no real basis. However, additional aggression might be better in that model, because, its easier to understand in a game than unjustified discrimination.

3) Affected people are basically exiled into controlled cities (yes far off places). The general population is not moved. (I decided to only use manifestation when referring to the first time a person gets affected).

4) The world is highly controlled by a government who control media. As suggested above, there would be a hate campaign.

5) I would never like the reason a little girl is kidnapped to be explored in any major way. The fact that the mutation gets manifested would be an important outcome, but to avoid being horrible, I would always prefer to hide what potential trauma might have occurred. It would be best to just imply that the girl was taken to the home of someone who owns many brothels.

6) To develop on villains being more complex, the first villain (in a very cliched move) becomes an ally.

7) The Idea about the military and corporation being staffed by mind washed strum would also be cool. If perhaps the corporation tried to assert a dictatorship on the general population using the saves as the heavy hand.

Hmmm this plot and back story sounds complex enough for a small scale RPG. I would possibly like the idea of RPG, but in 3rd person action.

I have to say, writing a scenario like this is very fun, but its not likely to ever go beyond this. :)

How strange... wwwwwww.

Your own idea, Dynasty, sounds a bit... well, it'd be very much open for a player to "ruin" their own experience.

I know gamers are used to "you died, try again" screens, but I feel your game as you suggested it, could be hard on the same levels as Ninja Gaiden, though not in the same way.

A FPS of a Space Marine

heh that would be cool. No wait a 40k Commissar, that would be sweet. Kill IG for moral and chainswording the badguys
Not an FPS, but a top-down shooter. Something like the engine for Alien Shooter. Start off as a basic Scout or Space Marine (dunno what'd be cooler for story aspects) and then purchase abilities that branch off into the aspects a Space Marine might delve into (Assault, Devestator, Apothecary, Psyker) to become more powerful ala Diablo II. Actions for buttons would be simple things like combat roll/jump pack boost/teleport (depending on your path) for dodging, grenade button, reload, open ability wheel (kinda like the X-Men Legends/Marvel: Ultimate Alliance serise), block, jump, etc.

Wargear would be sprinkled liberally throughout the game to customize your playstyle with your abilities with everything from jump packs to banners to krak grenades! An endless supply of replay value to collect more wargear to make the ultimate marine.

Also needs co-op with 3 other players (I always invisioned it to be on Xbox Live/PSN) to have a small squad of elite marines, as well as having CPU controlled marines fighting during the missions to give the real feel of fighting in a battalion of battle brothers. Various vehicles would also be piloted (if the player so chooses) in more open areas/large levels. And of course, the best part, being able to trash a multitude of races in strange plot twists (Necrons take over a Space Marine chapel and the SMs must make a temporary ceasefire with the Eldar they were just fighting to take back the area).

Of course, other additions could be something like a multiplayer fighting arena where teams of players can fight other teams. But what fun is it if you can only play SMs? If you can make the inidivudal games robust enough, it just means each race can be its own expansion pack! This would obviously make some interesting arena fights, import characters from different races to help a friend with cool combos like an IG Commisar, a SM Librarian and a Sister of Battle Canonness! How much cooler could you get with some 40k fun than that?

What I was basically suggesting as an alternate story was a powerful medical corp trying to use Strum as a loyal and intelligent military force to usurp first the city, then an entire country.

They're realistic, though.
An attempt at world domination would be unfeasible without an established country, spies, sleeper agents and other pretty expensive and difficult operations.

Attempting to take over one country and turning it into the epitome of Capitalism and scientific endeavor with no morals is much more, I feel, realistic goal for a group.

Haha, I was aiming for battletoads, "oh my god, oh my god, £300 a month new controllers bills" hard.

I'm interested in what you mean by "ruin", I know it would be hard, I know it would be frustrating leveling another general only to have him defect (with potentially half the army). Also that not leveling the character and getting attacked by Ninja Pirates at what would be the mid-point in the game would be all but a instant game over, trying to get someone to develop both the PC as a general and a character....or have I completely missed that?

Depending on the system and style of the game, I would possible buy that if it was made.

However, if it was to be a FPS, it would be nice to perhaps see scenes where you play through an abandoned suburbia, or something. I would imagine that the entire game would not take place on a spaceship, and, something different to to the normal grays and browns you so often see in FPS.

Also, what would be cool is a controllable free falling sequence back to earth, where you perhaps are required to fight robots on the way down.

However, I very much like the idea of a Demon required to balance the invading force.

I had it pictured as a first person shooter, taking place with the main character, a human turning into a demon, traveling between alien planets "evicting" the robots.
As he moves further on in the game, his demonic state "evolves", his experiences grows he gains new powers, a different appearance, etc... so it'd be an FPS RPG in space.

With scary The Darkness style demonic powers and the main character punching through people with dark-shrouded fists.

The worlds themselves, I did not picture as dark, but as vibrant and full of life, in a way yelling their organic resistance to the inorganic oppressors.

Well, I meant like your average player would hop in, be like "I wanna rule these bit- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" and call the game crap and blame everyone else for him playing a difficult game.

What about co-op up to 10 players, a la Tactical squad, but you can't create a game until you're at the captain level, to reflect the fact you cannot yet command a squad, master crafted weapons could become available after reaching veteran status or you could go Terminator?

I think launching multiple games that let you play as the separate races (one game each), would be the most effective way to go, price them cheaper (episodic) that way each game has the basics and can display the enemies and still connect online (inter-game online play could possibly be achieved, we have inter console FF11 was yeah?)

A game called Reaper force, where you're sent to purgatory, and are forced by the grim reaper to kill evil people throughout the ages in order to attain a better afterlife. You get tons of weapons like boxing gloves, Crowbars with barbed wire on them, A laser pistol, A gattiling sniper and different oufits like, normal reaper uniform, samurai outfit, cherrleading costume, Byzantine emperor clothers, and the simple fact there are 500 missions too. There's a lot of evil people throughout the history of civilization...

This was from another thread like this. Also, since then I've put in a gattling shotgun, dress like a ninja, a french revolutionary, Clint Eastwood's "Man with no name" and have a "Random Launcher" which shoots anything from teddy bears to nukes, and two easter egg missions where you fight 4chan and reap PedoBear and "moot", and 4Kids to reap Bobby Kotick.

And I just got this idea now, fighting Disney to reap Mickey Mouse, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Bros.

Tons more ideas coming...
