So what? I don't see what the big deal is of having threads with similar ideas. Unless people are having copy threads within a week or so of each other, who cares? I go on a lot of different forums and I've never seen one where people are so obsessed with whether or not an idea or question has been posted before. If it's so important, maybe the search engine on the forum needs to be better so that we get fewer "sorry this is a repeat post but I couldn't find anything like my question when I searched" responses to posts like the quote above.

While achievements are nice and all, I find that I really dont care about them very much. If they had actual value beyond bragging rights, then maybe I'd care. Xbox Live could make them worth points to be used to download content. Then they'd actually mean something.
