"You know I worry incessantly about things irrationally. Considering me in general, I am far from rational."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"We're all far from rational." I pat my pockets. "Oh yeah, I gave up. I'm still in the police station by the way."

 

[Saltarius]

"Making my way there, gradually."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"Thanks man. I gotta find something to replace smoking."

 

[Saltarius]

"I dunno, get a girlfriend or boyfriend or some shit. Write an award-winning film."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"Oh yes because there are so many potential partners out here, seeing as most of the people we meet that aren't fighters don't even have names and die or disappear within days. And I've written several award winning films already."

 

[Saltarius]

"They're all 'limited theater and print runs', aren't they."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"The awards they won are worth more to me than those bullshit Academy things ever could be!"

 

[Saltarius]

"The point is you never made anything off of them."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"That wasn't the point of making them! The point was to make films not money!"

 

[Saltarius]

"Making money is never a bad thing Paddy."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"If I wanted to make money I would have made some Transformers sequels."

 

[Saltarius]

"Hey, thought provoking movies with interesting characters can still be profitable."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"Not the kind I made."

 

[Saltarius]

"That may be your issue. You market your own very exclusive and narrow-minded ideals as 'game-changing script writing that will forever alter the film industry!"

 

[Paddy the Second]

"No, I market the films I make as the films that I want to make, it just happens that those don't fall within the parameters of what most people want to see."

 

[Saltarius]

"Then you should probably distribute them online instead so your audience finds you rather than the other way around."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"You think I'm a fucking idiot? I spent half my life on the internet, you can download my whole oeuvre for literally pennies if you choose to."
