"Right, can I see some arrest warrents then? For all I know you could be a couple of thugs looking to steal my ship." Knife says, before being lead to the curiser.

 

[RaNDM G]

"Filed at the precinct. Now shut your trap or I'll add resisting arrest."

You are stamped in and led to separate cells. Knife is held in the front and asked for his registration. Salt is led back and locked in an interrogation room.

 

[Knife-28]

"I'm the pilot, the previouse one Xotniram turned it over to me." Knife says, "And your avoiding my questions isn't putting me at the greatest of ease."

 

[RaNDM G]

"You don't ask questions. We do. Where is your registration?"

 

[Knife-28]

"I...um...look, if you find Xotnitram then he shoudl have them."

 

[RaNDM G]

"That corvette is Aitrius property. You're telling me someone just handed you the keys to that ship and told you to fly off?"

 

[Knife-28]

"Pretty much, yea." Knife says, fishing the keys out of his back pocket and flipping them onto the desk. "Keys should varify that if they have two sets of finger print on 'em. Mine and Xot's."

 

[RaNDM G]

"We already ran that name. There is not, nor has there ever been a 'Xotnitram' in any registry. Anywhere."

 

[Knife-28]

"Awww crap.' Knife mutters, hanging his head momentarily before looking back up. "Ok, he must of dupped me with, with a fake name or something. Look, he's a male..." Knife beguins to describe Xot to the cops, meanwhile I slip out of my improptue hiding spot in the corvettes engine room and sneak out to have a look around.

 

[Paddy the Second]

I fall out of the corvette's bathroom. "Wow. That was fast."

 

[Sigma Castell]

I respawn on to pof the police cruiser.
"You know, didnt we have some sort of grand purpose one time? I find it hard to belive that the entire purpose of the mall was to take us to Invictus and then burn down."

 

[MinimanZombie]

I phone Salt.
"Want me to break you out?"

I phone Salt.

The line is promptly disconnected.

You didn't expect them not to screen their calls, did you?

"Well fuck." I walk into the police station.
"Hello, I was wondering if you are housing Saltarius and Knife?"

 

[Saltarius]

"Ohgodohgodohgodohgod."

 

[Knife-28]

As he is still being held in the front, Knife see's Zombie come in. "Oi mate don't worry, it's just a little mix up with the corvette's resignation. Just you and the others wait it out and we'll sort it out in a jiffy, won't we officers."

"Okay guys. I'm going to try and break those two out. Or, at the very least, Knife. Because we need a pilot."
I put on a very expensive suit and grab a briefcase full of important files, then head to the police station. On the way, I call Knife.
"Knife, don't say anything until I get there, okay? Don't answer any questions. Just fold your arms, look slightly smug and ask for your lawyer. If their justice system is anything like a police procedural, they'll get annoyed at you but won't be able to do anything, then go off and find the perfect piece of evidence to convict you while you're waiting."

 

[Knife-28]

Seeing as he's still cuffed and being questioned, Knife let's Trilby's call go to voicemail. As he (and only he, thanks to the power of biotic implants) listens to the message he subtly shakes his head. "Well gents if we're all done here I'd like to see my lawyer if that's not to much trouble."
