"I can wait."

And so I do.

I walk into the bookstore. "So, I miss anything?"

 

[Saltarius]

"We're meeting Sis here in roughly an hour."

 

[Captain Anon]

"cool i'll go look around, maybe i'll scout out the area" i say before walking off

 

[Paddy the Second]

I try and find some Moebius, but even in space his work is elusive.

 

[Sigma Castell]

I wake up, and call Sister back.
"Hey I fell unconscious. Anyway, you're a ***** and you were probably adopted. Bye. Also, Salt has fallen in love with a Mammoth and they're eloping to Invictus together."
I hang up.

 

[RaNDM G]

You turn around, and meet her fist with your face.

 

[Saltarius]

I call Sigma.

"How bout we play a little game. You be Jason Todd and I'll be the Joker. I'll find us a clean crowbar, even."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

I look at my phone in confusion.
"Was I calling someone? Oh, right. Hey, Sister. So, I was just wondering where you are. And if there is a crowd nearby. And how much body armour you're wearing, because if you're meeting Salt then chances are, there will be people shooting guns at you."

 

[Sigma Castell]

I reel backwards from the blow, trip over a step and land on my back. My nose is almost definatly broken.
I pick up my phone from the floor next to me.
"Sorry Salt, I can't LARP with you right now, I'm in the middle of something."
I look up at Sister and raise an eyebrow.
"Yo."

 

[Paddy the Second]

"This is gonna end badly, and I won't have the drugs to take the edge off. I'm gonna get cranky." A sudden crippling pain hits my stomach. "Oh dear." I crumple to the floor. "Withdrawal."

 

[Saltarius]

"No, the joke was that Joker beats Jason Todd to death with a crowbar. Which is what I often feel like doing with you."

 

[RaNDM G]

"I'll keep that in mind Trilby."

She hangs up.

"Yo."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"Dammit. Guess I have to do this the hard way."
I step out of the bathroom and walk up to random people, show them a photo of Sister and ask if they've seen her.
