I guess a possible five figures isn't good enough? And after looking at the page, the guy even has the cojones to make the buyer pay for insurance on shipping. God forbid he pay the $50 or whatever for it. What an ass.

In this day and age I wouldn't put it past someone to buy it for that much.

Really, it'd probably be cheaper to make your own.

Probably?

Unless you're making it out of Diamonds, pure platinum and unicorn tears, I'm pretty sure an etched glass globe won't cost you a quarter of a million...

Shit, an entire medieval armor won't cost you a quarter of a million... Seriously.

Man, some nerds have either way too much time or way too much money. Truthfully I would say that should cost at the most twenty dollars.
Still, if someone is ready to waste that much money on a piece of nerdy paraphenalia then so be it.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm in the middle of bidding for a piece of bellybutton fluff that was on the set of 'Iron Man'.

I'm seeing that the FFVII glass orb materia sets on ebay for like $44 or so but if they're a million bucks or 20 quid thereabouts....what's the point? Glass orb from the final fantasy? Only the hardcore and then some will find that at all interesting. It's glassware that's modeled on an item in a game.

I'll be very inebriated and a completely different person the day I'll even fork out more than £20 for anime related merchandise (not including boxsets but even then I don't even get them for that much as of late)

Pfft! That's small-time. You gotta think bigger. Like, Final Fantasy Toilets. Or, Final Fantasy Tampons! What girl wouldn't want a little Cloud in their pants?

(If that last joke went too far, I apologize.)

That looks like a red marble with some writing on it. At least tell me it's substantially larger than an average marble.

This guy's an idiot, not to mention, even if he was selling for a halfway reasonable price, he shouldn't have chose the wake of THIS final fantasy game to sell it in

When a concept of personal sentimental value clashes with reality, the outcome is usually amusing. (See: Antiques Roadshow)

In this case, it is. That little bauble is obscenely overpriced.

I don't think it will go for 250,000... definitely not 1 mil unless there is soemone out there who is a diehard obessed fan and is rich... and a little crazy.
more power to the seller it he gets a bite.

i think 100,000 maybe possible with all the fanboys out there. i wouldn't mind having it myself to be honest but i would never pay that much for it even if i had 250,000 to waste.

Ok, that made me laugh my ass off just because it's true.

I bet it would be easier to sell my Rowdy Roddy Piper autographed GI Joe figure for a quarter million than this...I'd call it a paperweight but that would mean it serves a purpose.
