Now they will have serious problems to hype any of their following games.

Congratulations!

Not really. The next game will also be the greatest Bioware game ever made.

See how easy that was?

It will be the best game in the history of Bioware. Of that I have no doubt. Of course the fanboys of other bioware games will never EVER admit it because that would mean knocking their favorite game off the pedestal they've so carefully constructed for it.
Do you have a favourite game? One which you think is the best you've ever played?

Well it's not that great, you've just created a pedestal for it because you're irrationally in love with it.

And you know people who deny being gay? They're actually gay themselves. It's true. Anyone who denies being gay is actually gay. Same with people who deny being straight. Totally logical.

Producer's words, producer's words.

I'll get it. Play it. Enjoy it immensely. Probably won't beat Baldur's Gate in any way, shape or form.

I get all cautious every time I hear anyone and especially developers claim such things before the game is even released.
I'll be the judge of how good your game is, save your preaching. If your game is good, you will get your praise and money, don't worry.

My favorite game was TMNT3 turtles in time, then it got knocked off by Ocarina of time, which in turn got knocked off by Final Fantasy X which then got knocked off by Mass Effect.

So yes, I do have a favorite game, and yes I will freely admit all of its flaws. TMNT 3 was just too old to hold any water once I got playing games with better gamplay (Ocarina of Time), then ocarina of time got beaten by better story because Ocarina of Time had a pretty weak story, then Final Fantasy X got knocked off by better gameplay, story and voice acting (because the voice acting in FFX at times was just terrible) and even though Mass Effect is my current favorite game I will admit that the planets are bad, driving is worse and combat can sometimes leave a lot to be desired.

So yes I have a favorite game, but they're not on some kind of immovable pedestal.

Bayonetta will be a joke and I haven't even heard of Dark Void. I don't like Mass Effect but I'm going to easily say it's the 'big name' everyone should be fearing releasing their games on the same day.

This is like saying Microsoft shouldn't sell a new operating system because joe-shmoe's computer shack is putting one out the same day.

I also hate having to constantly manage and distribute loot amongst my squad. Does ME2 do away with this? (No, of course not because that's 75% of any Bioware game.)
but isnt that the staple of the majoity of RPG's?

I'm not trolling I'm just pointing out that Bioware games aren't particularly amazing so saying it's better than them isn't any sort of indication that the game wil be particularly outstanding.
Oh really? So you've never heard of Baldur's Gate, or its sequels? Or KOTOR? Or KOTOR 2? Or Jade Empire, or Neverwinter Nights 2? Or the Star Wars MMO they're making that looks to be actually good? Or the original Mass Effect, which won multiple awards? I guess other than that they haven't made anything notable...

They didn't make Knights of the Old Republic 2 or Neverwinter Nights 2... That was Obsidian and (Obsidian...? Dunno, haven't picked it up yet), just the first games in the series. Also, you missed Dragon Age: Origins...

If ME2 actually does surpass KOTOR and Jade Empire (my favorites from the studio) then I will be ecstatic.

Now, I really liked Mass Effect, but it wasn't quite on the level of those other two--it had it's high points, but there too many detracting factors. If they can pull it off though...*shivers*
