It's still a long wait until ME3 but at least there's still one more story dlc for ME2.

This is pure speculation but I think it should center around the Illusive Man. I still think that he was responsible for Shepard's death in the beginning of the game. He got Shep killed so he could bring him/her back and use him/her. Cerberus even had intel on where Shep's body was according to Liara. And the whole incident with Wilson was never brought up again. Tying up loose ends?

I think it would be a nice lead-in to ME3 with Shepard running from Cerberus and teaming up with Kaidan/Ashley. Also squad members would either side with Shepard or Cerberus depending on loyalty.

I hope it turns out this way. I liked Overlord but I worry that the final dlc might be something that unrelated.

What do you think the final dlc will be?

The Illusive man has a few loose ends tied up in the Retribution novel.

I'd love to see something like Shadow Broker where we get lots of variety and it would be cool to follow up on Ashley/Kaiden.

Absolutely, Ashley/Kaiden has to be addressed before ME3. I've always advocated having one of them becoming a SPECTRE tasked to hunt down Shepherd.

Or at least some sort of resolution! I mean, Kaiden/Ashley just ran away in a huff, what happens next?? Murderous rampage or renewed friendship/love?

Kaiden probably wnet and sulked in a corner somewhere listening to Fallout Boy.

Screw Ashley/Kaiden, I want a DLC about Legion. He was way more interesting than any of this relationship nonsense. Besides, Ashley is annoying as hell and Kaiden is duller than Jacob.

What I want for Mass Effect 2 DLC is a character addon that has a character that doesn't become totally silent with the exclusion of their loyalty mission.

Since it's supposed to be an in between I think we need to see Shepard go to the Council. Maybe have him present to them evidence about the incoming galactic threat. With that kind of ending those issues really need to be addressed.

I love to see someone else who cares enough for a game to read a book based off of it!

I want a DLC about the Presidium fish. He could join our squad and use his decadence powers again Krogen enemies; they'd fall under his sway. Soon Shephard would have an army of Krogan fighting alongside him against the Reapers only in order to protect the mighty Presidium fish. Bulletproof.

And me, the first and second were "okay" but the third was a brilliant book in it's own right, in my opinion.

As for DLC I'd like something with Kaiden or Ashley too, it makes sense when you think about it, you had the option to continue your romance with Liara (if you had one) with the Lair of the Shadow Broker so it only makes sense to give you the option to pursue the other romantic option.

If Bioware go the Kaiden/Ashley route for the DLC then I hope they aren't treated as the same character. They do actually have different personalities, simply using the same lines with two different characters is just plain lazy.

I laughed. A lot. XD

But if it's not focused on either of them, I'd really like it if Bioware would pay the voice actors to maybe record a few more lines for the characters already in existence. While the Shadow Broker DLC was fun, it felt strange having someone along for the ride who was, aside from their usual "in combat" one-liners, completely silent.

Zaeed's DLC had the same problem.

Do we have to? No offense to anyone who likes them, but I hate Ashley/Kaiden and would rather wait until ME3 to see them again. As for ideas for the next dlc, I don't really care as long as it's epic and has plenty of story like the Shadow Broker dlc.

Wait, you've made more? Awesome, every time I see your avatar i've had to fight the urge to heckle you to release more after the amazing standard of the last 2.

O.T
Don't know how much they could put the focus on a plot critical character like TIM in an optional DLC. Something even tangentially involving Ashley/Kaiden seems likely as a lead on to ME3.

Isn't the final DLC planned to bridge the gap between 2 and 3?

I wish they wouldn't put so much out - DLC is essentially the only thing BioWare is bad at. The Shadow Broker one would have been decent, had it not been released months after the main game, and containing stuff that would have been interesting to use during the main game.

I'd love to find out how Ashley/Kaidan managed to not get captured, despite being the very first one paralyzed.
