Seeing as the trailer for Mass Effect 3 already has Earth in flames and ruin from the Reapers, I'm going with everyone else on this one. At the very least, the Reapers will arrive at the very end of the DLC. Of course, that sort of raises the question of what to do with you saved game after you complete this DLC. Can't really run around the galaxy doing whatever while your home planet burns...perhaps the message, "You can play, but it's not part of the story."

Arrival of fish to the Presidium lake. ALL HAIL THE DECADENCE THAT IS THE PRESIDIUM FISH!
The Council races refuse to acknowledge the tastiness of the Presidium lake fish...It's up to Commander Shepard to convince them otherwise.
Ah yes, "fish" tasty aquatic organisms common on most garden worlds. We have dismissed that claim
I just fell out of my chair laughing. I felt you deserved to know that.

OT: I want this. I want it now. I don't care if the entire DLC is Shepard looking out the window and saying "Great Odin's Raven, Reapers are coming!", I would still buy it.

Yeah, it'll probably be the series of events that leads to galaxy-wide knowledge of the Reapers, if not simply their, you know, arrival.

Khalisah al-Jilani: Commander Shephard, you claim that you're trying to prove the existence and tastiness of the fabled 'presidium fish' despite the fact that the Council has explicitly stated that such a fish does not exi-

Arrival of the reapers I bet! WOO!
It would be cool, no doubt, but it's not the type of thing that should be done in DLC. The Reapers finally making it to citadel space is a massive deal. Make no mistake, I will play this content no matter what, but something so big shouldn't be released as extra content that may go unnoticed by people who don't buy DLc.
How about one where an isolated scouting outpost on the outer ring of the galaxy goes dark, and you go to investigate and find the Reapers are just arriving at the very edges of the Milky Way? That seems like it would fit the bill without raining on ME3's parade
I like this idea, I can already imagine the ending where Shepard blows up the first Reaper to arrive in Citadel space. I'd like it to be a Vorcha outpost since they'd be the ones out on the edge of normal space anyway and it'd give Bioware a nice chance to perhaps give them more of a culture and backstory.

Sounds good. Now go work at BioWare and make it happen.

LOL. Fail BioWare, fail.

Ah, well that was a good laugh.

OT: Should be interesting. I can't wait for it to come out.

I have a question for all of you PS3 owners. I recently got a PS3 to expand my collections, one of the first games I played on it was Assassin's Creed 2. I like to try and complete all of the achievements (or trophies) for a game and it irked me that there were several AC2 trophies being displayed that I could only acquire by purchasing DLC. I thought that this was just a bad move by Ubisoft but now that I read this I can't help but question that. How commonplace is it for PS3 trophy lists to include trophies that can only be earned through DLC you haven't purchased?

That's the plan, I'm actually getting a degree in Game Design at a good college right now, lol.

I would LOVE to work at Bioware, but I gotta stay grounded in the fact that I'm very unlikely to work anywhere that's even close to that cool.

the final DLC has already been announced and that it would tie ME2 and ME3 together and that it would come 2-3 months before ME3. this just confirmed the name of the DLC.
No, there's been no announcement of the final DLC at all. That's why nobody has heard of this. BioWare did say that the final DLC would lead into ME3 and hinted that the next DLC release could be the last (which is why I brought it up in the post) but there's no guarantee that there won't be another DLC update after this one.

Saying "we're going to release a DLC update at some point in the future" is not the same as an announcement.

If that goddamned turian council member shows up with his fucking air-quotes again, I am going to kill someone.
Yes, I'm "sure" you "will."

If it is the Reapers, it had better explain how they managed to make a 1000 year journey (the galaxy is 100,000 light years across, zoomed out the Reapers appear to be 50,000 light years out, assuming their FTL methods are better, 1000 is a conservative estimate. If their speed is faster, why even have the relays?) in a considerably shorter time.

Maybe our good friend the Turian councillor is indoctrinated and he reactivates the Citadel relay?

What happened to all the anti dlc people? I feel ennoyed that there has been so many dlc packs for ME2. I can understand one just before ME3 comes out to get people excited and to bridge the gap, but any others are just too money grabbing. I feel that the taking advantage of its fanbase by Bioware is going too far.
