While having Legion on the team (woooo!) the lack of Tali is concerning and shouldn't Liara be doing a certain job after a certain DLC mission?

I really wish they would have kept away from gender specific pronouns...

Other then that it is now time for me to go into my hole of avoiding every bit of info until it comes out to avoid exploding from anticipation.

Where is this screenshot of Ashley!?!? Google has failed me for the first time!

Edit: NVM, spoke too soon. No lies, she' doesn't look bad at all. Slightly less wooden. Which makes me think, what happened to Miranda? Will the two meet? Shepard oversee catfight?

Eh, I don't buy the Illusive Man bit.

There is no good reason for him to want to kill you, even if you did choose to piss him off at the end of ME2. Sure, you told him you're quitting and perhaps gave him the finger to boot. Sure, your reputation's in the mud thanks to him, so the galaxy as a whole might not be as happy with you as it used to be (if it ever was). But he's already poured so many resources into you and your team. You've already done the impossible. No matter how mad he is, he knows you're the most qualified and has the best chance of preventing galactic genocide. He knows you're as worried about the Reapers as he is, if not more so. It just doesn't make sense that he'd try to kill you after all that trouble and with the stakes so high.

And anyway, knowing the Illusive Man, I'd think he'd have asked Miranda to install a "self-destruct" switch while she was reconstructing you that he could activate remotely. Though then again, it probably rely on the Mass Relay's comm units to work, but like I said, he has no good reason to want to kill you yet.

And as for Liara, we who have played her related DLC (or spoiled ourselves silly) know that she really shouldn't be on your team... I guess she'd be on your team if you didn't do the DLC mission? Though if we did, and she isn't on our team, I would imagine we'd get terrific compensation from her... Or maybe Feron would just take her slot or something...

Nooooo! Not the weapon mods!

If they do bring them back I hope there is a better system. Also let us access party equipment through a dang menu instead of going to the bottom of the ship, and having to go through a bunch of lockers individually. God the inventory system in the first game sucked.

Also what happens if say, I import a game with only four or five people still alive? I'm gonna play through ME2 and try to kill off anyone they say will be coming back in 3!

Well it says Shepard is on trial, so maybe he spilled some information about Cerberus that made the Illusive Man unhappy. It's also possible that between 2 and 3 he gets indoctrinated, and uses his resources to kill Shepard. Just thinking.

Awesome, gun and armour modding was something I really missed in Mass Effect 2 (although not the infinite lists of same-y guns retrieved) even if the actual shooting was more fun. Turning ammo types into powers always felt cheap and underwhelming.

A bit more variety in abilities is always a good thing, they don't need to make it completely arcane or anything. Sounds great, here's hoping for the best in the series!
Really? The things I hated the most in Mass Effect were the weapon mods. I always felt it strange that one of the elite 'Specters' backed with funding from the council had to mod his own weapons like he was a damn space pirate scavenging parts to make ends meat.

I'm sure that all the characters that you romance will be available in ME3.
[sub]They wouldn't take Tali away from us...[/sub]

On a side note though,
If it turns out to be true, that is. I was hoping that the Reapers show up at the climax of the story, not the start. It's pretty hard to justify galactic exploration and (in a wort case scenario) planet scanning while your homeworld is getting ripped apart by giant robot space cuttlefish.

... Some of these allies may include Liara, Ashley/Kaiden, Garrus, Wrex, Mordin, and Legion (if they're alive). One of the new squadmates/characters is named James Sanders, but the article doesn't seem to reveal what his deal is. ...
Why do people always spell Kaidan's name wrong? I've never really got that.

But still, great article that just makes me want Mass Effect 3 and my May issue of Game Informer right now (although, if I had ME3 right now I wouldn't really want to have the Game Informer then now wouldn't I since I'd have the game).

so either way, the illusive man is a moron now. depending on how you finished ME2 and apparently how ME3 starts, either his incredibly iffy plan to spend millions of dollars on reviving one soldier with free reign over the mission really was an immensely stupid and disadvantageous move for him, or he has chronic backstabbing syndrome and is stupidly trying to kill his best operative who did everything he wanted. im sure bioware will contrive some explanation as to why TIM would be trying to kill a renegade shepard, but we all know its just a ploy to make the final ME2 decision moot.

who the hell criticized ME for being "too much" of an RPG? im pretty sure it was criticized for the clunky invetory, long and needlessly difficult to control mako sections, and tedious cover-combat. at any rate, ill believe the gameplay changes when i see them; ME2 lost ALOT of replay value with its lack of customization, and if their sticking with the "force all teammates to look like fashion disasters in combat" squad armor thing, their gonna need some serious customization options to convince me ME3 is worth more time than i can get with a rental.

Bioware if you know whats best for you, you'd better let me see what quarians look under the mask or there will be blood.
