I don't care about her being in the game, even less do I care about that "conflict of interest". She's just a reporter on the Normandy, so I don't have to talk to her the whole time or take her to missions. She might even be a decent character. I haven't heard any dialog from her, so I have no idea how she is.
Even if she is annoying, I see it in a positive way, we'll probably get to punch her, so I'd be fine with that.

I reserve judgement. I mean, just because the character LOOKS like a melted Snooki and is voiced by a...whatever you want to call Chobot (I prefer "glorified booth babe"), that doesn't mean the character is horrible and unlikeable. Granted I'm kind of banking on her being unlikeable and cribbing renegade points off her by treating her like crap, but still.

Also, Tali shopping for swimsuits is hilarious, however I must ask you to please stop feeding the fanartists and fanfic writers material.

I really don't have too much of a problem with our quasi-journalist stowaway. The Normandy's a big ship, and you have a team half the size of your ME2 crew, with the DLC members, of course. If you don't like her, just don't go to the lonely part of the ship she's on.

Yeah, really. More characters are fun.

And some of use have PLENTY of room on the Normandy.

I haven't been reacting so strongly to Mass Effect news so far, but that part really is a deal breaker. Though who knows, if ME3 ends up being good, I'll probably suck it up and buy it on Origin, so whatever.

OT: Good comic. I like the idea of Tali (and the rest of Shep's crew) just shopping normally, it's amusing to me. To say nothing of the actual content, which was also quite good.

I'm getting the 360 Kinect edition, so at least the R(EA)per invasion will not get on my computer. I'm with you on hating Origin, but this is a case of EA having me by the Citadel. Bioware is the ONE company I will buy games from without waiting on reviews. So while I would normally boycott EA games on principle, I'm not even going to pretend I have that kind of leverage here.

I will say, the Kinect integration REALLY impressed me. I'm used to shouting at the Netflix app at the top of my voice for it to pause... I was on my couch this morning talking with my inside voice in the middle of a firefight, and everything I said was being picked up. It even let me add "Muahahahah!" to the renegade response options during convos without a blip.

Of course on that I would disagree that she wouldn't get punched. Khalisah al-Jilani can be punched repeatedly and calling her a journalist is the equivalent of calling Faux News a respectable news agency.

Yes, I would be interested. And seeing as I still haven't finished the first Mass Effect due to not actually being able to play on Steam at the moment... Most of this is passing me by without too much emotional outburst. Oh and I ventured into the Bioware forums once. NEVER AGAIN.
