Yeah, I'm not sure what the deal is with that. On my 360 version, I got him doing the first thing. I thought it was a good way for him to go out. Then, when I played my PS3 version, I got him saying that horrible cliche line and went, "Well, that's different." I don't think it's a patch, because I just finished another run on my 360, fully-updated and everything with the game, and he still did the first thing. This, of course, utterly confuses me because both play-throughs of my Shepards are exactly the same on both consoles. The only thing different is that the PS3 version doesn't have a Mass Effect save loaded into ME2 which was then loaded into ME3. So...the only thing that's making him say something different has to do with some random line of code all the way back in Mass Effect?ravenshrike said:Are they going to fix the 'fix' introduced to the Mordin paragon death cutscene? The one where they removed his half hummed salarian scientist line and replaced it with utterly trite bullshit?
Fixing the endings might be a bit too much to hope for.Proverbial Jon said:Ummm, what? What "things" would these be?Andy Chalk said:"It will be our largest patch, and has been in dev. for months. It also sets us up for future... things "
At a guess, the Omega DLC they announced a few weeks back...Proverbial Jon said:Ummm, what? What "things" would these be?
Are you sure you didn't just watch a different version of the cut-scene based on you relationship with Mordin that play through? I know one time for me He didn't hum because I'd never had the original conversations with him where he sings back in ME2, but all the times when I have he does the humming in his ME3 death scene.ravenshrike said:Are they going to fix the 'fix' introduced to the Mordin paragon death cutscene? The one where they removed his half hummed salarian scientist line and replaced it with utterly trite bullshit?
It's quite simple, actually: you have to trigger the Gilbert & Sullivan dialogue in ME2 for him to sing in ME3. Otherwise he uses the same lines given to his replacement.Sniper Team 4 said:Yeah, I'm not sure what the deal is with that.ravenshrike said:Are they going to fix the 'fix' introduced to the Mordin paragon death cutscene? The one where they removed his half hummed salarian scientist line and replaced it with utterly trite bullshit?
And this is why bert is glad he stopped playing ME3's MPteh_Canape said:"- Players can no longer grab Geth Pyros over cover"
Apparently you don't play any EA games actually do you and just like to spout hyperbole because it's fun.The Lunatic said:Has EA heard about this?!
Developers spending time fixing games?
Do they even allow that at EA?
I'm surprised there isn't a price tag, it sounds like more effort has gone into this than most of the DLC EA shoves out the door.
Wait...that makes the exact opposite of sense.tmande2nd said:Who really gives a damn?
I know only ONE person who still plays ME3.
I honestly wonder if Bioware even cares.
This. Exactly this.teh_Canape said:"- Players can no longer grab Geth Pyros over cover"
