No one died, not even the support crew. We were such big damn heroes. Then I told TIM to suck it and did manly things with Grunt and Garrus.

I really wanted to get under Tali's Visor, as much I wanted to see what you could possibly do with a Quarian Romance scene, my main interest was in seeing a Quarians face... So I sucked up to her my entire first play through, learning everything I could when we visited the Flotilla, but would you believe it? She got hit by a stray round as she was trying to close the doors on the collector ship and I almost wept.

I completed the game, but did it again, following a guide to make sure I kept everyone... Unforunate that Tali's romance scene is boring as hell and we don't even get to see her face. I almost wish I'd just left it as it was.

I had the same thing happen in ME1. I saved Ashley because I thought the objective she was covering was the most important one (not because I liked her) and let Kaiden die, with no prior knowledge that these were the consequences. I was so distraught that I'd let the racist ***** live and the gentle hero die, I fired up a really old save and worked through the whole story again. So now in my ME2 run-through Kaiden's alive, but to be honest it feels hollow. I'm sure it'd have been more interesting living with the "what ifs" but with a save file, death is only an inconvenience.

First playthrough I lost Mordin because for some reason I thought he could function as a tech expert. No, I don't know how I got that idea. He's the only one though.
umm... I kinda had the same idea :p

My first play through, I lost Grunt, which just killed me. Second time through, I didn't lose anyone!

My first playthrough I lost Tali even though I did everything RIGHT... with the exception of getting her exiled because I didn't have enough Renegade and hadn't saved either of the people needed to rally the crowd. The one person I wanted alive and I got her killed... I was depressed.
My second playthrough I did not lose anyone, as Paragon FemShep Vanguard charges far, far ahead of her sniper teammates and shotgun kills every single living thing on the goddamned ship. On Insanity.

Ever since, and I've played it through waaay too many times, I lost no one, including the crew.

If I remember right, on my first playthrough I think it was Mordin (out of bad luck I guess,) and Miranda (Didn't have enough paragon to settle the dispute between her and Jack, so she got pissed at me and then died.)Got better on my second though, lost nobody.

Four the first time, three the second time, one the third time (freaking Mordin and his bullet magnets), and none the fourth and fifth times. Or maybe it was three one none. I don't remember. All I know is that I made terrible choices, and my "canon" run is the most recent one. In which everyone lived due to how awesome I am.

For my Paragon Male Shepard: Grunt

For my Paragade/Renegon Female Shepard: Thane, Zaeed, and Jack

For my Renegade Male Shepard: No one, except for my entire crew.

None, and I got damn lucky on that final stretch. Everyone survived on my team.

At first it was Jack, but I did it again and she lived. Only keeping her around because I think that in ME3 there will be an achievement for keeping all team mates alive. Would gladly let her die if there isn't.

"During my first suicide mission only Legion died (he was specialist), because, as I found out, Samara is a crappy fire squad leader lol. Oh, and Kelly now works as a milkshake."

This is my exact experience, except I was fooled by Zaeeds utter uselessness.

Also I really need to learn to use that quote button *sigh*

Nobody on my team died. All loyal, all upgrades, plus some logical decision making ensured everybody came home. EVERYBODY.

No one on my first proper (ie what I consider MY canon playthrough for the trilogy) run of it died, I just couldn't let it happen. I then watched a video of someone's playthrough where EVERYONE died and it was horrifying. It was genuinely upsetting seeing them all die.

My Insanity run (at this point in time, still ongoing), I'm not too bothered who dies because while I intend to use it for ME3, I want it to be different and see what kind of changes it brings. However I will not let Miranda or Legion die. So far I think Tali and Thane are dead and am at the Biotic shield section, suspect Grunt may die on the escort.

absolutely nobody died on any of my playthroughs. I refuse to let one person die, but hey, that how I roll.
