That trailer is the sole reason I am interested int his game now. That was emotionally charged and hints towards a decent story. me likey.

I liked Call of Duty more than Medal of Honor back in the early days, but I think this might switch my thinking around. It actually looks really good and I hate to say it but I'm getting excited for this one. Plus, DICE is working on the multiplayer. This game looks intense, emotional, and fun.

Also, a beta was mentioned? I think I need to get in on that.

Looks pretty interesting. I'll probably rent it at least, perhaps buy it. I tend to favor the Medal of Honor games over CoD games anyway.

I liked MoH better if I wanted realism.

Ah, the good days...

I'll be looking forward to this more - I am no fan of Treyarch, I hated Vietnam, and I want to get this series back.

... HOLY FUCK that was brilliant!

Why can't movie trailers be like that?!

Wow that looked incredibly boring, like something straight out of a cliche and boredom holywood sandwich, i have never been that big a fan of the military shooters, especially not the "realistic" ones, but im still amazed at how run of the mill and plain this trailer makes the game look, a plot surrounding the cocky, perfect dad/soldier behind enemy lines as he keeps talking about his family and how he misses them just don't interest me anymore.

Edit:
damn, some people seems to be intrigued and/or deeply affected by that voicemail, honestly for me it just seems like something you learn on day one of the "drama/making your protagonist deep" class for beginners, but maybe seeing the plot in way to many action movies have just made me sinister.

I'm probably the only one, but the last part with the explosions look alot like Killzone 2's explosions... This game better be as good as it looks at least, I can't stand games that look impressive but turn out to be crap or bugged down.

Right now, I think MoH looks way better than BlackOps. BlackOps looks like it's trying to follow the silly and over the top introduced in COD4 and taken to the extreme in MW2. MoH looks more gritty and depressing, and to me, more immersive and interesting.

This could be interesting, I'll be keeping an eye on how it progresses. I'd like to see more information about the story and how it plays. I hope it isn't a cliche fest with 'War is teh bads' but not 'killing rag heads is teh awesomes' either. An interesting perspective, ya know?

I never got into WWII shooters. The only one I played really was CoD2 but that came with my 360 way back when. However I do remember playing some MoH at my cousins when I was a wee lad and I had played CoD there too and I always considered MoH the lesser of the two. It seemed more like the copy and less the originial.

I am interested in seeing this new title though and am interested in Dice's multiplayer.

So good luck and I want a good clean fight! (not really).

I was about to laugh as I thought I heard the line " I'll be home before Christmas" coming out of his mouth...then he said something else :)

Oh, I so fucking want!

Both games look awsome, probably meaning i'm going to have to shell out more of my free time to get some extra scratch.

I've always loved Treyarch.
Are you.... human?

OT: Will probably only bother buying MoH, after the recent this with MW2 and how pathetic CoD:WaW I've been put off buying anything CoD related unless it's taken back to it's original and more successful formula.

Have always loved the MoH series (equaly to the original CoDs) and will be looking forward to seeing if this new MoH sticks with the tried and tested forumla and how it's been altered.

Reminds me of the cutscenes in World in Conflict, phone calls home with FUBAR moments involving helicopters. Just an observation though, probably no connection.

Anyway, this hasn't sold me. I didn't think it would. I'll certainly keep an eye on it, but there wasn't anything new or exciting there...

The trailers actually a lot better then black ops, love the mimicking of the D-Day landings..Medal of Honor's always been my favorite out of Call of Duty and it.

DICE is working on the multiplayer? In that case...

Though I (kinda) remember hearing that before.
