Haven't really played MoH since Rising Sun for the Gamecube. Hated the way that game ended but loved it otherwise. This trailer for anyone that has people in the armed forces serving over seas actually makes it hit home more than you think because that is actually the way that it is. You worry about it and you hang on getting a call to know that everything is all right. I am looking forward to this game because it makes the storyline seem more realistic than anything that CoD has ever done and it gives this character personality even in the trailer something I have not seen in a FPS or war game personally EVER. If they can pull off an amazing storyline even if there is no multiplayer or the multiplayer sucks I won't really care because to me Multiplayer is just icing on the cake it doesn't need to be there the game should be able to exist without it which is something CoD has seemed to of forgotten.

Intrestign strategy. Well, I am sure the CoD game willl likely be the peoples bigger focus, but...been so similar I wonder if people will be tempted just to tide them over...

The big twist in all of this is that since he's all emotional and fluffy on the phone, he'll die. That's gritty realism for you. Just seems extremely boring to me.

I think both games will be quite good, and I'm gonna buy them both.
I could've gotten MoH as a birthday present, if my birthday wasn't THE DAY BEFORE IT COMES OUT.

Very moving trailer. Modern war shooters need to capture the personal sacrifices of modern military personnel without making them superheroes. This soldier leaving a message on the answering machine to his wife and daughter really worked.

I'm a die-hard military personnel-supporter, so I'm slowly getting hyped up by this trailer... damnit :p

That was...actually moving.
I don't want the narrator to die.
Oh gosh, I'm getting hyped.
Someone save me!
Quick, put it between my eyes!
I know, I am getting hyped to.

Also they are going to beta test it! Which is good because it can only help. I just hope it's like the Reach beta and actually comes out early enough to make a difference.
Yeah I wonder when this beta will come out. I couldn't participate in the Reach beta because I never bought ODST. I also wonder how we can gain access to the beta. Maybe by preordering it?

You know? A lot of people will just buy both.

Personally, I'm with Black Ops. I've always loved Treyarch.
Same, except I've loved MoH ever since it decided my 8 year old brain (at the time) and my PS2 needed the Normandy Landings.

That's why MoH is the one I'm buying first!

On the fence for both games.

At the moment neither Activision nor EA is demonstrating a capacity to deliver (MW2 has left such a bad taste in my mouth so bad that it's one of the few games that I really want my money back for) a proper 50-60$ game and when my money is as tight as it is now I'm probably not going to buy either game until I can somehow guarantee they're worth it or they drop down to the cheapies.

Still waiting on Battlefield 3...

But I may get Medal of Honor. Since it includes guys with beards.

And as we all know, beards are the manliest piece of hair ever.

100% of men with beards look badass
Not Osama

OT: I think Black Ops will outsell it but looks like EA are going for realism and treyarch may be doing a little scifi super soldiering

Since Airbourne (Well since anything after Allied Assault) MoH has been crap.

CoD has gone downhill since 4 hitting bottom with MW2. So whilst MoH is still higher on my list of things to keep an eye on than CoD, they're pretty much both not worth the effort.

I used to love this genre, what the fuck is happening.
How care you hate the genre that has Valve making games for it 24/7?

WHY IS THIS GAME SO PRETTY

JUST LOOK AT IT

IT'S GORGEOUS

So, I dunno, it looks kinda neat. I like the look of the trailer- it seems intriguing enough for me to try out the single player.

Well of course not all beards are good. Just like people, there are good beards, and there are bad beards.

To me the only MOH games, that was really good was Allied Assault. I really liked the "flexible" character in that one. Later expansions and games were not nearly as fun. I also got Airborne for free, but only played it for 10 minutes - just not my kind of game.

I will keep an eye on this new one, but not buying until i try it out in MP. Currently i see it like "just another MW clone", but i am ready to get surprised.

I liked Call of Duty more than Medal of Honor back in the early days, but I think this might switch my thinking around. It actually looks really good and I hate to say it but I'm getting excited for this one. Plus, DICE is working on the multiplayer. This game looks intense, emotional, and fun.

Also, a beta was mentioned? I think I need to get in on that.
DICE is working on the multiplayer? In that case...

And I already love it.
Though I (kinda) remember hearing that before.
ARE YOU SAYING I'M FICKLE!?!?

Well if so, you would be correct.

and if not.
