The idea sounds good but lets wait for the execution of it. EA is pretty known making something truly unique into a generic ass shooter. Mass effect 2 anyone?

Either way, I hope that one month earlier release won't gimp the game or else EA shoots itself in the foot. Seriously.
...I liked Mass Effect 2 more than the first one.

On-topic, that was an intriguing trailer. I'm not sold on the game yet, but it looks like (despite what some on here think) it's trying to do something a bit different than MW.

Another gritty-realistic modern shooter? Just spanky.
...Why do we need another one of these again? How many of these sorts of games are there now?

You know? A lot of people will just buy both.

Personally, I'm with Black Ops. I've always loved Treyarch.
As am I, not too interested in MOH, they just seem a bit late to the 'warfare in modern times' party.

I've always enjoyed MoH more than CoD, so it's nice to see that it's making a new game. I just hope it won't be another clone of MW2/BC2, even though I know it will be.
The multiplayer is apparently being developed by BC2.. so I don't know about "clone" but I'm hoping it's good.

I know I will be renting both if anything
...if anything is for keeps, well we'll just have to wait and see

I seem to say that a lot, but hey, I'm open to having fun instead of judging

Medal of Honor is currently ranked higher with my interest because I'm diggin' their trailers (esp the message one)
Black-Ops seems like a replication of the "action movie" that MW2 had (nothing wrong with that in my book, but how about a possibility of being true Tier One? hmmm seems to have more heart, which Treyarch hasn't really put up much)

edit:

Well that trailer put a chill down my spine.
yeah I feel like what MoH is putting up here isn't just another 'gritty realistic shooter' feel to it
then again even if it was it could still be a fun ride, shoot me if that's too much for people who are above fun lol

The big twist in all of this is that since he's all emotional and fluffy on the phone, he'll die. That's gritty realism for you. Just seems extremely boring to me.
Gritty Realism and actual realism are two completely different things. Just because they give him a background and life does by no means mean that he is GOING to die. They could be going for something that hits as close to home in a war FPS as they can and this Trailer shows that they are close if they are trying to do that.

I'll bet you my entire life's savings that the guy talking in the trailer isn't even whoever we're supposed to be playing in the game. They're only doing this to try and add some depth to a series that really doesn't need it.

Any game that shows the actually shit that war is, to me anyway, should be worth playing.

I'm buying both anyway.

They're probably both going to be great. I loved Treyarch's campaign in WAW, and enjoyed all the old MOH games.

So because it comes out a month early people assume they will buy one or the other.
Me, like many gamers will buy both. =D

Another modern military shooter? One is enough.
Well, we've got past and future. What do you want?
Just seems like there are alot coming out as of late. You have the two MW games, Bad Company, this Black Ops thing, and now MoH is getting into it. That's just a small list.

I guess I just wonder... what's the difference?

Am I the only one that thinks that the title "Leaving a Message" for a trailer that reveals this game is released a month before the other game has some kind double mean attached to it.

MoH is a WILL buy, CoD is a more than likely will buy. Looking forward to both, that is, until Fallout New Vegas comes out, at which point they will be relegated to the shelf to collect dust till im "Falledout" lol.

I decided to buy MoH after the first trailer and dedicated servers news. If Black Ops doesn't cut out dedicated servers for PC gamers I'll pick it up too. Depending on ho much I like MoH I will get Black Ops as soon as it's released, or couple of months later.

That was...actually moving.
I don't want the narrator to die.
Oh gosh, I'm getting hyped.
Someone save me!
Quick, put it between my eyes!
I know, I am getting hyped to.

Also they are going to beta test it! Which is good because it can only help. I just hope it's like the Reach beta and actually comes out early enough to make a difference.
Yeah I wonder when this beta will come out. I couldn't participate in the Reach beta because I never bought ODST. I also wonder how we can gain access to the beta. Maybe by preordering it?
Most likely. I can't see that many other options.

Looks interesting, but after my recent heartbreak with MW2's multiplayer, I think I've given up on modern shooters.

Same here. It actually is the only option that makes sense at this point, and that is probably how you will gain access to it.
