Reality. If it isn't a story, I'm almost certainly indifferent.

At this point I'm indifferent about the whole Half Life 3 - Episode 3 thing. I had passing interest in the rumors of hints but whatever. It'll happen sometime. And then nobody will shut up about it, for better or for worse.

Meh.

Asking me to come up with something I'm meh about is like asking me to tell a joke: I have plenty, but when you put me on the spot, it's hard to recall any of them.

Hm... right now it's the Avengers. I don't really care to see the movie because I'm just not that into superhero movies anymore. I don't care how good an actor Robert Downy Jr. is or that Joss Whedon is associated with the movie in some way. I'm just not interested in it. I may watch via Netflix someday, but not until I watch Thor first.

I only get passionate about it when people I know treat me like I'm an alien because of my disinterest.

Death. And I'm not saying that for some kind of "Oh JT, you so edgy!". I mean, in a weird way, I find it hard to give a crap about death. I don't really understand the whole 'mourning' thing. Isn't it kinda like crying over spilt milk (granted, it's on a larger scale, but it generally fits the metaphor)?
It's not that I'm disrespectful about it, though. I'll attend funerals respectfully and what not (And the wake. Though I never understood why "someone just died" is immediately followed by "let's have a buffet!")
But generally when someone dies, I can't help but feel overall 'meh'. They're dead, they're not coming back, let's get on with things as long as we're still alive.

[small]god, I hope I'm never asked to speak at a funeral. I'm sure "Meh." is not an acceptable eulogy[/small]

This is going to sound ignorant but anything related to history or the topic off.

I just kind of sit with my mouth agape and immediately forget everything I learned that day during the class. Im also not much into politics minus whatever floats down the information line.

Football. Who gives a shit if Chelsea bought their success? Um?newsflash: they all fucking did. And who gives a shit if British TV is biased against Arsenal? Just ignore it, don't act like a little ***** and moan to me over it. (This is more directed at my football-fanatic Arsenal fan brother than anyone. I used to like football and supported Man U, but now I just couldn't give a shit because everything associated with it seems so fucking childish.)

Whatever the fuck people were pissing and moaning about over Mass Effect. Something to do with homosexuality and its ending, I guess?

Politics, because I automatically write off all politicians as being corrupt sociopaths who want nothing more than to see us suffer.

Religion, because I?m an Atheist and have long become fed up arguing with irrational people over their beliefs in fairies and how this and that is wrong because some dude said so?probably.

Music. I just?don?t listen to that much of it. I don?t have an iPod or anything, nor do I have a particular genre that I listen to.

Gay marriage. The world?s not going to end just because two guys want an official contract to show their love or whatever. Also, apart from actual gay/bisexual people, why should anyone poke their noses when they're not wanted into other people's private business? It's not as if they're waving their cocks in your face every five minutes.

Well, marriage in general. Outdated and, IMO, overall meaningless institution which I will cry tears of blood over if my future girlfriend ever expresses a desire for it.

My Little Pony. What?s so great about it? Granted, I haven?t actually watched the damn thing, but seriously: what?s so fucking great about it and why is everyone talking about it?

Justin bieber. Don't care either way.

This is maybe going to get me banned but still:

boy...this will sure start some rousing debate...

Mass effect 3's ending
I know what you mean, I was initially disappointed and angry but now there is just those serene, vacant feeling surrounding the whole series for me.
.....so everyone (or at least you guys) feel how I always felt about the series in general even BEFORE Mass Effect 3? This is how I felt trying to play the first game....

....good to know.

But for me.....

I guess I'm neutral to My Little Pony: FIM, I watched Powerpuff girls as a kid, and they have exactly the same entertainment standards for me.
Besides! Both center around a bunch of girls with super-magical powers who fight evil and learn about love and companionship along the way! Bubbles is mostly Fluttershy, Blossom is mostly Twilight sparkle, Buttercup is mostly Rainbow Dash (the tomboy), mix in some Pinkie Pie and Applejack to create CHEMICAL X.

-EXPLOSION, followed by brief silence-

Thus, THE POWERPUFF GIRLS WERE BORN! Etc etc....

Basically, for me, PPG with ponies. Not worth my time or my hate. And if anybody's gonna argue, this is it's PERSONAL value to me.

I love the way you say "one fan", like there is this one guy I get this image on a user group set up by a big fat sweaty German guy wearing leaderhosen, that is all about you. And on every thread he sallies forth and quotes you to say "Yeah" while staring lustily at your avatar and wishing planning your efficient Teutonic wedding.

Anyways...

Star Trek. I don't care at all. I don't hate it and I get that it did have a positive impact but I have zero interest.

Godzilla/all monster movies. I just think they are silly. Too silly for me to get invested in

Comic books and anime. Occasionally I'll enjoy them, but most of the time they don't do anything for me. Competitive horticulture would also be included...I don't even know why there are programs on the BBC showing this, there's nothing exciting about watching marrows grow.

Everything here. Also politics, religion, people's relationships, their pets, and just a bunch of other things people love to bring up.

EDIT: Also a lot of the threads on this site. They just got really boring all of a sudden. Also why is everyone on this site so interested in each other's sex lives out of nowhere?

Marijuana legalization. I really just can't bring myself to care whether it happens or not. I don't use it, nor do I ever intend to. At the same time, I have nothing against people who do use it.

thats kind of a long list but here we go , and in no particular order

sports (of any kind)
celebrity's
religion
politics
most forms of DRM (cause like 2 of my games have it)
people pissed about something and belittling others for not caring or wishing them harm for not caring
the 'PC VS consoles' or '360 VS PS3' arguments, waste of time and forum space
star wars
star trek
piracy (cause the industry seems to encourage it more then anything else)

and that's all i can think of off hand, sure there's more, but meh, that's a good enough list of stuff i don't care about

and yet people will go into huge discussions over which one's better, usually ending in a massive and ultimately pointless argument.

Bit like console wars then.

Yep, totally in agreement on this one. Console wars are so annoying when most have the exact same games with differences so minor only a professional programmer could tell the difference.

I have a hard time caring about gay marriage. I mean, it's not illegal any more to be gay in most countries, and they're allowed to live together as domestic partners; being legally married doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference, nothing is stopping them from having a ceremony without the legal contract right? I mean, I know some hetero couples who live pretty much like a married couple. My uncle and his fiance have been together for a long while (I think almost 20 years) and have a 15 year old son, and they aren't married,it affects them very little.

There's not really any reason that they shouldn't be allowed to marry, I just think it doesn't really matter much at all.

edit: I have a feeling that somebody is going to make me regret posting this : \
First of all I'm not sure what country you live in but in America majority of the states have gay marriage outlawed and many have civil and domestic unions outlawed as well. Additionally Gay people are prosecuted in many parts of America, for example just recently a gay person was dragged to death by someone in their car and no charges were pressed against the person even though he did it in the middle of town and many people saw him doing it. Finally its the principle of the mater that counts. By preventing gays from getting married you are essentially stating that they are not allowed the same rights as a anyone else because of something that is out of their control.

I don't want to sound hostile and I personally don't care if you are indifferent or not I just hope I could change it if your indifference was caused by ignorance instead of just apathy.

Well I'm against murder and assault in general of course; I'm not apathetic to that sort of thing. I just don't really care whether they're allowed to marry is all.
