The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

And another one that I love:
"Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time."

I think that the first one was from a cracked article, I have heard the first one before, but I don't know where.

My quote: "Blasphemy? No, it is not blasphemy. If God is as vast as that, he is above blasphemy; if he is as little as that, he is beneath it."

Hah! took me a sec. I forgot about Freeman's Mind. Love that series. It ended abruptly though... didn't it?

Right, I have two very nice and long quotes for you!

"The only rule that ever made sense to me I learned from a history, not an economics, professor at Wharton. "Fear," he used to say, "fear is the most valuable commodity in the universe." That blew me away. "Turn on the TV," he'd say. "What are you seeing? People selling their products? No. People selling the fear of you having to live without their products." Fuckin' A, was he right. Fear of aging, fear of loneliness, fear of poverty, fear of failure. Fear is the most basic emotion we have. Fear is primal. Fear sells."

"Gu was a worrier, a neurotic curmudgeon. If he had a headache, it was a brain tumor; if it looked like rain, this year's harvest was ruined. This was his way of controlling the situation, his lifelong strategy for always coming out ahead. Now, when reality looked more dire than any of his fatalisitic predictions, he had no choice but to turn tail and charge in the opposite direction."

"Pray from god, but row away from the rocks".

There are many quotes from the same man, but this one is short and sweet.

Not seen the movie in a while but here goes.

GuyA: What do you think of that weapon?
GuyB: *Spins a knife around in his hand* It's 'bout a half gram heavy on the back end.

No it was not from a cracked article, but since you know Mark Twain you should know him.

aha. i've got a quote i doubt ANYONE will get without looking it up.and it is EPIC...

"at the bottom, you see, we are not homo sapiens at all. our core is madness. our prime directive?MURDER.what darwin was too polite to say, my friends,is that we came to rule the earth not because we were the smartest, or the meanest, but because we've always been the craziest. most murdering motherfuckers in the jungle."
