There IS the possibility that they're trying to transition to Big Boss's voice as heard in MGS4, when he had a different voice actor from Solid Snake. It's likely David Hayter will still play the role of Solid Snake if he makes another appearance.
Shut up Adachi.New World Fool said:... Well, I'm gonna go and cry myself sleep. Unless... this is a clever ruse!? It has to be, they wouldn't just get rid of David!
This is exactly what was going through my head.Daystar Clarion said:Gotta be a ruse.
There's no way they'd just drop Hayter.
He is Solid Snake.
I sense tricksy Kojima shenanigans.
Speaking of Raiden... he's the new voice actor for Snake! Quinton Flynn as Raiden as Solid Snake! It's brilliant!Xcell935 said:Shut up Adachi.New World Fool said:... Well, I'm gonna go and cry myself sleep. Unless... this is a clever ruse!? It has to be, they wouldn't just get rid of David!
OT:
This is clearly a prank right?
Kinda like with Raiden in MGS2 right?
Kojima your pulling our legs again right?
RI................ RIGHT?!
That's what I'm thinking of as well.Moontouched-Moogle said:There IS the possibility that they're trying to transition to Big Boss's voice as heard in MGS4, when he had a different voice actor from Solid Snake. Yup. Peace Walker had inordinate production values for a PSP game as Kojima wanted it to be MGS 5. When it didn't sell he had it put in the HD Collection to "reach a wider audience." Now he's making another Big Boss prequel game? It's like he can't let things go. WE MUST APPRECIATE HIS GENIUS!!!11fix-the-spade said:I dunno, Kojima's been disappearing up his own ego in the last couple of years.Daystar Clarion said:I sense tricksy Kojima shenanigans.
Like when proudly showing of Revengeance to the press it was him that walked out onto the stage and showed off 'his' game (was it the 2011 Spike's? Can't remember). Then when the reaction was let's say... muted, suddenly it's Platinum Games fault and he's publishing videos of the development team apologising for the crappy job they've done while he says it's nothing to do with him. It was a very public humiliation for people he was all too keen to pretend didn't exist when the hype was on his side.
I hope you're right, but if you're not then it smacks of 'no one can be famous for Metal Gear than me' syndrome.
Then again, this is Konami, and they're... not exactly on the ball, these days.Daystar Clarion said:Gotta be a ruse.
