As far as I can tell, you seem to be getting the same amount of content as halo 3. Plenty of people bought that game at full price.
Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, it was stated by bungie when they announced it for the people who don't know the halo lore. They are also known as helljumpers.thiosk said:never once did i see a definition for odst

We're comparing a PS3 game to a 360 game. First off, Blu Ray disks are more expensive to produce, and it's two different companies with different views on how a game should be sold.HeyZeus_Ezekiel_Jesus said:I wouldn't count on it soon? Do you know how long it took for Haze to come down in price?Xbowhyena said:The price will drop if sales are bad, and they'll stay up if people feel the game is worth it. Thus is the nature of things.
Do you think you'll still have the clarity of mind needed to use a neural interface when HLF comes out?Cliff_m85 said:I'll save my money up so I can afford "Half Life Forever" when it comes out.
Does it really matter what ODST means? The title isn't Halo 3: Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, it's Halo 3: ODST.thiosk said:never once did i see a definition for odst

Actually, no. The Valve dilemma is: BAAAW, they aren't giving us the free content that they promised. Here, the argument is: BAAW, they're going to try to make us pay full price for a mission pack and the same multiplayer package all over again.yankeefan19 said:I don't care it looks good and I don't have any of the map packs. And by the way, those of you boycotting are no better than the valve fans boycotting L4D2 because it was released quickly.

I'll join ya. *secretly pre-ordering this* Down with the Halo.Jumplion said:Woo! Halo:ODST Boycott! Quick, start a group at the Xbox forums or something, we've got a manifesto to write!Kellerb said:...money grabbing arse hats. i am boycotting the hell out of this.
I respectfully disagree. They at least carried the story to it's climax and conclusion, and added other features such as live play and forge and other in game items, however much you use them is up for debate, but they had a reason to existtheultimateend said:So were Halo 2 and 3.Wafflestomper99 said:I don't really see a need to charge a full amount. It is an expansion pack for all intents and purposes. I'll try it, but I'm not gonna buy it till the price drops. And if that means waiting a while, I will.
It's just a cash cow.
Atleast that was a decent game. Nintendo had the audacity of demanding ?120 for a copy of Wii Fit for a while here.oliveira8 said:Still not as expensive as the inFAMOUS copy selling for 74 euros at a store where I live...
Well I mean, I play both PC games and 360 games, and I would be pissed the hell off if every class update for team fortress 2 cost 10 bucks, and you can't play any ranked matches if you don't have all the classes.D_987 said:...why should they be free anyway?Jsnoopy said:Lol hell no i'm not buying this! The d*cks at bungie still haven't made the legendry maps free a year after they have dropped and I mistakenly bought the mythic maps thinking they would become so. No more money for you, Bungie!
I love how Bungie claims that they "are now separate" from Microsoft, but still make games announced by, marketed by, and published by Microsoft.Digikid said:Nahy. The Great JT said:All right, all in favor of blowing up Bungie's money-grubbing asses, say "aye."
Be fair guys....Bungie is not owned by Microsoft anymore and needs to make a living. I admit that I am a huge Halo fan and I WILL be getting the ODST Collectors Edition for sure. I have no problem paying for quality.
Stop the whining. Get jobs.
You don't need any DLC to play team slayer...Turtleboy1017 said:Well I mean, I play both PC games and 360 games, and I would be pissed the hell off if every class update for team fortress 2 cost 10 bucks, and you can't play any ranked matches if you don't have all the classes.D_987 said:...why should they be free anyway?Jsnoopy said:Lol hell no i'm not buying this! It's bullshit, that's what it is. I can't play any team slayer with my buddies, because only like 2 of us actually think that the mythic map pack is worth it. Trust me, it's not.
that statement is 10000% grammatically incorrect. as the words high quality and experience can not be used in a positive light when the word halo is usedKeane Ng said:I don't doubt that it'll probably be a high-quality Halo 3 experience,
but we all know that gramers (if you dont know what that means watch nametags) will buy anything just as long as it has: halo, fifa, madden and gears of war slapped on the box. if this doesnt sell well i will stuff my xbox up my arse.Xbowhyena said:The price will drop if sales are bad, and they'll stay up if people feel the game is worth it.
