That's not to say that video-games are bad but kids really do need to learn to go out and play games using their imaginations a bit more.
Kids who rely on TV and games to keep them entertained seem to have little to no ability to free-think as everything is force fed to them.
I find it even more amusing how the answers to this thread so far are actually compelling arguments for people stating the negative impact of gaming. "Fuck you for telling me I should spend less time alone in my room looking at a screen" from 90% of repliers is hardly a good argument against how violent games affect peoples behviour.
