90 bucks for a game, thats overpriced or the game has to be ridiculously good which I doubt. God damn Activision starting to act like EA, but in a different directsion.
I believe the price change is only in the U.K.

Well, I live in Estonia, and I think I am the only one here.

Basically, PC games that get released cost about 750 Krones (that would be c.a. 75 USD or about 45 Euros).

And to be honest - it ain't much.

dude u need to learn to shop around, like fact (ive just looked) it £44 at game and a few other places. why not preorder it now so if the price does go up you wont pay more for it????? and if you think £44 is too much then you just tight, as most games these days are between £40-£50 with the average being £45.

It's perfectly simple. Vote with your wallet. Trouble is COD:MW was so successful and Activision are turning into such money grabbing bastards that they feel vindicated in charging more. " Hey, your really enjoying our game...So you'll pay more for it."

No die from me I'm afraid.

Oh come on, does it hurt to raise the price of the game ? Think how much effort goes into a game - have you ever bought an expensive game that was bad ? I can't think of any.

Down here in Kiwi country we regularly pay roughly $120 for a new release, console or no. If you're lucky, and the local mass merchant shop (The Warehouse) actually has it in stock, then it's $100.

Use an exchange rate from the Pound-NZ Dollar.. you'll be surprised how much we get gouged.

£55 is the RRP, so the actual price will be around £45, since £50 is the current RRP. That said, I refuse to pay over £40 for a game, so I'll wait until the January sales.

That sucks. I wouldn't buy the game at that price. Well, I'd say I wouldn't, but I'd probably eventually give in and buy it. But just because I'm sure it'll be a great game. Right...?

Wow. Just wow.
You would think that game companies would think about people before releasing things, because without us, where would the gaming companies go?
That game has a huge fanbase and Infinity Ward/Activision is undoubtedly going to make a shit-ton of money off the game no matter how much they charge for it.

Does it matter how much money they make ?
Atleast Activision doesn't (pardon my french) fuck up their games like EA does.

EA Games - Ruins everything!

OH FUCK THEM.

Ahem. That's just not fair! I have always brought games, I don't download them and I'm getting punished for it? Well bollocks I say. Well they've just lost a customer. It really is no wonder Internet piracy is on the rise with retards like that at the helm. It's enough to push me to torrenting games.

I don't see how they can do that. I'm sure many people pre-ordered it and it would be rude to tell pre-orderers that they'll have to pay more. I pre-ordered it in the U.S. and as far as I know it still costs $60.

These companies wonder why used games and piracy are thriving?
