Didn't Kotick say that the COD series was a testament to the real life soldiers who fight today? So why the hell is the series going into such stupid lengths to one-up itself and make the threat of Russians or Muslims or whoever the enemy in apparently more powerful than nuclear arms? This series has gone so far off kilter that its a parody of itself right now, just trying to shock and sensationalize itself another stupid installment to earn a quick buck. Oh, and isn't the new IW made up of cannibalized workers from the old IW minus all the talent that made the first fun?
Yes he did, but look at the BF3 trailer, way more about the modern soldier, less about fantastic superheroes.

I'm not sure. CoD4 had a plausible story, and MW2 just went off the rails with it.

A quick buck is what it boils down to. Especially with the lack of improvemnts or innovations.

The new IW is everyone who didn't leave with West and Zampella, so yes.

Colour me....impressed. If they don't f*ck it up, I think it might give Battlefielf 3 a run for it's money.

I see the amount of work they did here

I mean deciding which three countries with a letter "E"(3) in their names they'll use out of the others in the world through the process of elimination is really painstakingly hard.

You know, even though I won't be getting this game anyway, I can only assume other people find it a niggly little annoyance that this being a 'World War 3' game, means trips to all the MOST iconic cities in the world. War in England? You're going to London of course. France? You get Paris and the Eiffel tower shoved down your throat. And we can't forget DC, for the Whitehouse in ruins is (even after being done to DEATH) oh so emotion-stirring.

Because capital cities are where ALL the fighting in world wars is at, yo (sarcasm). Other people feelin' this, or am I just splitting hairs on an already very hairy target for criticism?
