Did you ever do anything bad when you were a kid, and if so, was that a direct result of your parents not being good enough?

Now to correct you. I didn't say it said that once. I said it "read" like that so let me explain what that means, it means that that is what I got from it, my interpretation. Which, apparently I am not alone in thinking judging my the posts here, some of which are just made to laugh at her, and other posts which are more serious. This does not by any means mean that I think someone's viewpoint is worthless because they have faith, unless it is something along the lines of "Don't worry, God will save your endangered family" and even that that's simply because I'm Athiest.

I am aware it is against the law. Never said it wasn't. How did he get the game? At the risk of repeating myself:

1. Stealing it
2. Renting it
3. Borrowing it from a friend
4. Getting it as a gift
5. Paying for it
6. Finding it (slimmer chance than others)

I said the level of the problem on this forum is getting out of hand. I don't see that as denouncing anybody, just making an observation using this thread and my time on this forum and what I have witnessed as evidence. I also said nothing concerning your faith or lack of it. I didn't label you as anything. I apologize if you feel that way, I didn't mean to direct everything at you, and if I offended you I should have worded it better, I guess.

The enitre forum is not bigoted, but the level of behaiviour and statements are there for everyone to see, right in this thread. It's not like I'm making it up.

I don't have much interest in arguing over semantics, what I meant was some people may have a legit reason to overreact, therefore it would be warranted for them to do so. I am sorry if I counfused you.

Its about the fact that it reads like she is seeing games as unholy and has to claim that even with Jesus' support the evil of video games is still corrupting her son. As that is insane, she therefore loses credability and is laughable.

This is getting out of hand. People that want to make these assumptions should be moderated. The level of bigotry and ignorance on this forum is way out of control, and nobody seems to want to step in to take a stand. I have been in the R+P section for a few days, debating with people there, and I thought that section was bad. It's tame compared to the comments going on here.

I joined this community because it stood out from others on the net, because of the great userbase here. I don't know what has happened, but it's starting to become like the Wild West, and I no longer feel like I am welcome here, because of my faith. After all, if you are so quick to admonish some woman in Boston because she makes a small statement about seeking help from her church, why would anybody think I have any credibility in anything I say? It is clear the majority of this community does not want Christians around, and intend to be completely disrespectful towards them.

This post reminds me of a younger me. Of course I gave up on trying to get any shred of understanding or tolerance out of this mass of antagonistic and ignorant folk quite some time ago. Now I just come here on occasion for some videos, the few good articles, and to look down on the forum community as the giant pile of hypocrites they are.

Here's an idea, if he plays video games too much, then why in the hell does he still have the PS3 in room?!. Take the damn thing away completely and while you're at it take the TV away from his room as well. If he gets pissed, then tough shit. If he still complains, give it away. Yeah it bugs me when people create arguements out of thin air, mostly because if it was done to me it would probably piss me right off but you'd think someone would at least try to make sense, especially during an arguement. And thanks, its nice to make sense some of the time.

I think I'm stupid and hypocritical too, but I also think you made an 'ass' out of 'u' and your 'mptions' just now by assuming I was looking down on everyone like some kind of fucking elitist piece of shit.
