Dracula in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.

Like wtf? You just defeated the final boss, Brauner, yay, then all of a fucking sudden Death comes in and kills the guy, saying that he's now gonna resurrect Dracula.

Then all of a sudden Dracula is the new villain. WTH?!
My god, SOMEONE ELSE who finally agrees with me on that one. Seriously, what made Capcom think that would be okay to do? We had a genuinely cool new main villan, who we can actually feel sympathetic for (I mean, the bad ending made me feel almost bad for him), and then right at the end, Brauner looks like hes just about to have a revelation or something, then Death just obliterates him and throws Dracula back into the picture (pun unintended) with very little explanation or valid reason. Come oooooooooon, Capcom!

I'd have to say Hel from 'Viking: Battle for Asgard'. Good game, but the ending and the final boss fight were so lame that the whole experience left me quite unsatisfied.
Fontaine from 'BioShock' is a close second though.

Btw, Dr. Ivo Robotnik was Dr. Eggman's grandfather.

Ultimecia from FF8 was fucking stupid. You don't even hear her NAME until halfway through disk 3, and she has no characterization, no motivation, and no reason to be part of the plot except maybe as some sort of bizarre attempt at a plot twist that doesn't work because you DON'T KNOW WHO SHE IS. It's the sort of thing that makes me angry enough to write atrocious run-on sentences.

Then she ends up being a pushover when you have to fight her anyway. Figures.

Since I just finished playing Final Fantasy Tactics 2 :Grimoire of the Rift, I'd say the guy or chick (I don't even remember that) That was trying to do... Something. Something with the magic book.

Just on the many completely forgottable characters in games.

Nah, Kuja at least had a sense of humour to him and did in fact destroy a world which is more than you can say for the silver haired masamune wielding git.

I can't limit myself to just one, so here's my list:

- Sephiroth. Ya, we get it. You killed Aeris. Who cares anymore?!
- Eggman. He has none of his grandfather's(?) charm. He doesn't have the purely evil ideas to kidnap forest animals and turn them into robots. Now he has the stupid ideas to use an evil genie or turn sonic into a hogwolf....super
- Ocelot. I just don't understand the big deal about this guy.
- Lord Bale (Dawn of War). He is only memorable for his horrible, Dinobot-esque voice. He could not compare to Sindri. (fully aware that he was voiced by Dinobot's voice actor, Scott McNeil).

Lucien fable 2, suckkkkkkkkked
Lucien wasn't the villain, he was the excuse for the villains to exist (aka, he's their "boss") and anyway, he was the good guy in my version of Fable2 cuz I made his evil-ness seem pittiful compared to my village tormenting, trader slaying ways XD

As for the most boring villains ever:
-Dimitri from GTA4
-Arhiman from Prince Of Persia
-the bad guys from Too Human (uninspired bad guys for an uninspired game)

Remember People: The Only Way To Have A Quality Villain Is When You Like Him More Than You Do The Moral-Peddling Excuse For A Character You Call A Protagonist

So if Lucien wasn't the villain in YOUR version of Fable 2 then who was? Lucien blatantly WAS the bad guy, or else the game wouldn't make you spend hours trying to kill him because he killed your sister and dog and is trying to destroy the world, which you are trying to prevent, just because you choose to be evil doesn't deter from that fact you are a hero.

Guys, it's a Castelvania game. Did you really think Drac wasn't going to be in it?

As to my answer... I hate to take the cliche, but I'm gonna have to go Lucien too.

The Jackal in FarCry 2. I never gave enough of a damn to even finish the game. It seemed more important to chase zebras around and hunt them.

Or park your jeep and let them run into it and kill themselves.

It's all about motive, I wanted to kill the bastard because he wanted to mess up the world that I took pleasure in tormenting. Since the MC in Fable2 never speaks, his motives are those that I choose to attribute to him. So in my game, I only wanted to make the pain of the world last whereas he was doing it in my place, which I didn't appreciate.
Plus anyway, even if Lucien hadn't been there, I'd have been just as evil and destructive, so my sociopathic tendencies made me the actual bad guy, he just wanted his family back and used questionnable methods.

The Prophets of Regret and Mercy. We got some backstory for Truth in Contact Harvest, so we understand where he's coming from, but we know practically nothing about the two others except one of them got gobbled up by the Flood and you get to assassinate the other.
