Blargian Snagglebeast: Ohai my steps create enormous damaging shockwaves, I can shoot lasers out of my head, I can shoot fireballs out of my hands, and I can create an impenetrable force field around me.

Me: Is that all? I'll just take one of my ridiculous weapons and kick your enormous hairy ass.

Blargian Snagglebeast: Oh, and my breath will rob you of all your ammo.

Me: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

This although I personally found the constant waves of hunters in that battle to be more annoying. Oh my you seem to have been knocked down by one attack, right lets send 5 of the annoying bastards to keep using the knockdown attack and completely gank you in the corner. And whats that? you want to eat some people to get health back? Well fuck you with a side of chips we're going to keep interupting you until you die...Bastards.

OT: I put my vote to the Reaper bugs on Resident Evil 5 they have 2 weak points which are really hard to shoot, and if you shoot them and you don't hit a weak spot then they release a strange green...substance that makes your vision go screwy AND THEN they grab you and instakill you. Ugh

And I heard about someone named Psycho Mantis, which is a boss in some game I dont remember. Tricky part about him is that he knows the moves you are going to do because he reads your controller channel (or something, somebody who understands this please explain further). Was impossible to beat with your PS2 controller on the first channel of the PS2.

this is how P.M. works: right as you press the button, it sends a signal which is coded to make the character on screen respond. Psycho Mantis 'jacks' this signal and interprets it himself. He knows the perfect counterattack to every move you can make because he knows what your character is going to do even before he does. He can also make your controller rumble, he can read save files, and can actually make people believe the channel has changed by turning the screen black with the word "HIDEO" in green caption on the screen. MGS4 breaks the original way, because the only way to fix it when P.M calls out 'Blackout' is to switch ports. It doesn't work in MGS4.
Psycho Mantis is from Metal Gear Solid. he also appears in a few other Metal Gear games.

MGS on ps1, yes the only way to beat him was to switch the controlleer into the second port because i would "read your mind" (the AI would track your aiming and make him dodge)

Grace and Glory aren't much better. But at least you get to activate Witch Time against them.

Personally, I hate every enemy in Bayonetta that won't send you into Witch Time when you dodge at the right time. Those bastards are usually hard enough to kill as it is, but not being able to slow down time?

The boss fight against Elizabeth Greene in Prototype. So much damn health and a frickin' army of infected things is a pain in the ass!

My main problem with them wasn't that you couldn't activate witch time on them, it was that you couldn't get them in a combo, they would just instantly counter and I made the mistake of wasting all of my money on health/magic upgrades instead of items like the rosary that does damage upon dodging.

I ran around like a cheetah on speed, throwing cars at her with the super strength power on. Took me about 30 mins and did it first time.

Didn't think it was that hard.

They have already been mentioned but the goaty bastards from god of war 3, when they aren't blocking there bouncing round, when there not bouncing round there interrupting your attacks. They also seem to have a shed load of health.

Mass Effect 2's Praetorians. The good news is that there are only two in the game, but they still caused me to rage quit numerous times.

Also the final boss from Tekken 5. (forgot his name)

Most of moves couldn't be blocked or dodged, plus he had this energy ball move that took a ridiculous amount of health from you.
Jinpachi Mishima. My most frustrating enimie was the Wannamingo from fallout 2, but only in the beginning when I did not have good weapons.

Super Infected in Prototype Platinum events, namely Military diguise events

Normal infected die instantly

Hunters and up stay in the same place when your shooting them

Super infected fly halfway across the screen, often resulting in slower times

Very annoying considering that Raid is my last event until the achievement
