Most laughably absurd plot for a movie you've ever heard in your life?

I'm gonna go with... Vanilla sky.

for most the film, it's just a romance flick, then you find out that he was actually frozen alive for 150 years, and was living in a dream.

Human Centipede. Some crazy surgeon wants to sew 3 people together in a gross manner because...he wants to see if he can? All torture-porn is stupid and unnecessary but this one takes the cake.

Then there's a kid movie about talking guinea pigs trained as super agents. Our children deserve better than this!

It's more of a massive plothole than a bad plot but Back to the Future.

I'll leave it in the hands of the great Ed Byrne to explain to you exactly why:

In this sequel of the first Jack Frost movie, Sheriff Sam Tiler, his wife Anne, and Sam's two deputies (also husband and wife) decide to go on a Caribbean vacation to take their minds off the traumatic events of the previous movie in a place with absolutely no snow. Their holiday will be short-lived, however, as the thawed murderer gets inadvertantly re-frozen and brought back to life. As if that weren't bad enough, he now has the ability to remain frozen even in tropical temperatures, and he's headed south to settle some old scores
I think I win.

'Wanted' was a terrible movie, with probably the worst plot-to-budget ratio I can think of: A secret guild of assassins, who can break the laws of physics, kill people because a loom tells them to. Really? A loom?
You know what the worst par is? Its notthing like the comic its "based" on.

In the original comic, they are a group of supervilliains who 18 years ago formed an alliance and destroyed the super-heroes.
Its awesome! They even have a time-traveling midget and an evil mastermind who is frequently yelled at, by his own dick o_O

I've got one that could very well end this thread.

Jennifer's Body.

I actually watched the movie on TV yesterday. It was the most god awful piece of trite I've ever had to see. Transformers 2 was better than this, I mean atleast the premise was somewhat decent.

Jennifer's Body is about this girl who gets sacrificed by a punk rock band so they can be famous. She comes back as this demon chick and eats guys.
Yep, that's the plot. It's just... awful.

A girl falls in love with a vampire, but get this, he sparkles.... Oh wait.

In all seriousness, Id say a movie based around gaming that isnt a documentary, there is one I just cant remeber the name.
1) The main plot isn't bad at all, it's just the way it's shown that's bad
2) Have you heard of Tron?

So you get some snakes right, the you put them on a plane...

Also, another terrible movie... you get some flesh-eating zombie disease, you then carry it on a passenger plane...
Wait, there was another movie that had snakes on a plane besides Snakes on a Plane? No wonder it's terrible, because nobody has ever heard of it.

Anyhoo, yeah. Snakes on a plane. That was pretty absurd. And that's why I love it <3

I will forever uphold Basic as having the worst premise ever. To quote myself from a thread about confusing films:
Basic. Seriously, what?
So, like, the black guy killed everyone but then he didn't but then he did but then everyone is a liar but then they're all perfectly fine?

Nah only the one snakes on a plane movie that I know of...

But there is also a movie called "Outbreak on a Plane" which is... bad, REALLY bad.

Doom, the movie.

"Ok... we're making a movie about a video game. This game is about scientists who accidently open up a portal to hell and demons break free into our dimension and one soldier fights his way through hell and kills satan"
"what was that? I wasn't listening. All I heard was something about genetic modification that could be affected by a genome that determines if your good or evil"

What... the.... hell...
Yeah that was just ludicrous... I actually would have preferred it if they just made it about aliens... god they ripped off Aliens enough. At least aliens would have been plausible.
FPS section was okay though.
I agree with everything only I nearly jized at the FPS section. I wish there was a movie all in first person.
OT: I belive the movie was called dragon war. It was so odd to me and since when did Chinese armour stop bullets? It was pure stupidity.
Plus the DB movie was dire.

I can't remember the movie but it was made in the late nineties/early two thousands but there was a movie that had the entire plot be the sun is going out lets send a spaceship out to relight it...wackiness ensues.

The movie starts with a profound misunderstanding or complete disregard for any science having anything to do with space or the sun, and ends with a romance/horror thing where the sun is basically the Jason of our solar system.
Sounds kinda like Sunshine, but that movie was only a couple of years ago I think. The frightening implication being that someone did it *twice*.

Not a movie
[sup]well technically there was a movie made but still[/sup]

Yu-Gi-Oh. It's a children's card game that can hurt you and projects massively advanced holograms over half a city.

Oyea, and Kiaba has a blimp.

Seriously though. I actually love Yu-Gi-Oh, but that doesn't mean that it's general idea isn't bad-shit crazy!
