I don't think there is a most original since once one enters the realm of "none of this has been done before" that's as original as it gets.

My vote is Pac-Man, though I'll also mention Tetris, Wolfenstein 3D, and any of a number of other notable firsts.

Tetries, on the other hand... I honestly wouldn't know what inspired Tetris.

obviosuly. You play as a sackboy for christ sakes, jumping around a platformer collecting balls of points and the checkpoint is a fucking GONG. Lol, the most original (and best, imo) game of 2008.

Uhm.. in Voodoo Vince you play as a voodoo doll which, coincidently resembles sack boy...texture wise.

Most original game? Sorry, I disagree. There was a game before pong which is exactly the same thing. It's called Tennis.

Sure, pong is the most INFLUENTIAL game because there would be no game industry if Ralph Baer hadn't made it. But original it is not.

Originality goes to either Pac Man or Tetris for me. Two great games needing twitchy hands and a focused eye.
