I had liked this girl since middle school, and she asked if I wanted to go to our high school's opening football game. It was insanely cold, so I stood there with her cuddling inside my jacket while watching the game. Three years later, we're still together. :)

I was on a holiday, anyway watching the most beautiful sunrise over an empty beach with the nicest girl I have ever met.

Romance? Ahahahahaha

Oh, right...
*ahem*
I hang out on an internet forum. Romance is dead in my life.
Double for me... it is saturday night and I'm watching Tarkovsky's Stalker for the bazillionth time, posting on an internet forum...

I will try...

In the Parc du Mount Royal, in Montreal, I met this beautiful japanese girl called Kyoko, she was travelling over North America after finishing college, we had this absolutely perfect day, we met the day before at this wonderful little cafe right outside Mount Royal metro station, we just... clicked, I guess... we made a date for the following day and travelled all over the city, went to two art shows, I bought a criterion edition (used, and for 12 dollars...) of Deadringers (which we saw on my computer back at the place I was staying) went to this awesome club with a kick-ass Dj and danced like crazy, long story short, we ended at Parc Mount Royal, where, while it was snowing like crazy, she gave the best kiss in my entire life... we went back to her hotel and all that...

Really, one of the few moments you are actually happy to be alive

Me and my girlfriend at the time were at her house watching movies. We'd gotten under the covers and started cuddling and such. She had her head against my chest, using me as a pillow as she lay helf-asleep. I was stroking her hair and her back, and then she just looks up at me and plants the perfect kiss.

Oh, it was a good day.

Girls tend to use a guys jacket as an excuse to cuddle in, its cool that we're typically bigger than our girlfriends because our clothes are bigger too haha. Like when my ex used to wear my t-shirts as a nighty =P

That the Stalker movie from 1979? I have seen the first 40 odd minutes of it. Interesting movie based on the book "A road side picnic" which was one of the earlier uses of no go zones which later contributed to that movie and the videogame of the same name.

As to the romance, thats pretty awesome and I love how the Canadians managed to keep the romantic energy of the french alive in their cities. Good for you dude!

I was having sex with my ex-girlfriend and I kept thinking, "Man, I wish this was Jessica Alba under me." It was very romantic for Jessica and I.
I laughed. Hard.

OT: Romance? Pssshh! You probably think I'm one of those people with social skills and shit...

Although I did dance with this one girl in at the middle school dance. It meant nothing, but it was pretty romantic anyway.

Not sure, but they've all been with my best friend/romantic interest. Either going out on a Midnight walk around the University Campus with her and sitting down under the stars or cuddling up to each other after watching TV in my room. Or that time we lay down on the grass in the sun. Or dancing with her at that foam party.

I have no idea why she is still not my girlfriend...

Mine is when my husband first proposed to me. It was outside a brunch restaraunt and there is this small bench and stream behind it. He was so nervous he almost pushed us both into the stream!

I still poke fun at him for that.

... Err, making out with my girlfriend on her bed after watching PS I Love You. Even the makeout session was more romantic than that movie. I think.

But she broke up with me the next week, saying she found a guy. Kinda pissed me off, considering she said she was pretty much a lesbian. I swear, we could have made a great, romantic couple though.

That same one, I love Tarkovsky to death, I have actually lost count of how many times I have seen both Stalker and Solaris (please, avoid the lame, mediocre, George Clooney remake)

I don't normally participate in these threads, but hey.

It was waking up with my girlfriend in my arms for the first time after we'd slept with each other. She was fast asleep her hair pulled back because it made me sneeze. Our hands where clenched together and our legs were entangled. She looked content and peaceful. We'd both fallen asleep naked and seeing her form next to me was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

She had a body that could have made a super model jealous, amazing hips, defined collarbones and I must say I really nice butt.

I had trouble picking out a most romantic moment through the time we spent together, though brief it really was passionate.

Another example was our first kiss... I'm not ashamed to say this started as an internet romance, she lived an hour away from me and we'd spoken for around 4 years we'd both helped each other through hard times and bad relationships and eventually fell for each other... Just before christmas last year I'd invited her over and we'd sat down in my room to a movie entitled P.S I Love You, it was one of our favorites. We watched it on my laptop and as I leaned over her to adjust the screen I could smell her... as I sat back down I looked at her and was shocked by how beautiful she looked, as the intro music to the movie started I kissed her, I held her neck lightly and she kissed me back. After the kiss I rested my forehead to hers and whispered a tenative "I love you" to which she replied in a similar whisper "I love you to".

Sadly I lost her due to my own inexperiance, we're still good friends and I'm living the very pathetic cliche of still being madly in love with her... I suppose that's the most romantic part of our relationship in a tragic way.

Always a ball bash when they say they found someone else. Its like "k thanks for everything but I got someone better now, think of me sleeping with him while you suffer from a depression spike." I havent experinced this personally but I should imagine it would suck to that degree.

Maybe she's waiting for you to make the first move? Girls don't iniate the relationship they just create the opportunity =P

Proposals usually are a beautiful moment in a couples shared life. That one sounds very peaceful.

Not exactly romantic but Kudos are offered for a job well done.

I understand that story, it is a beautiful thing to wake up and feel the warmth of someone you love after the first time your intimate and like you I did lose someone special to me due to issues with experience although in my case I can also say I wasnt mature enough for the situation, probably still aren't tbh.

Though staying friends with a girl you love when she doesnt feel the same way must be a nightmare when she meets other guys. I know Im happier with my ex in a different country to avoid that awkwardness of such events.

Yeah, I was really upset after the first few days. I actually learned from one of my closer friends that she had been leading me on the whole time because in class, she would be all over the guy. But oh well, shit happens, yeah?

I went to the beach back in July with my girlfriend to watch the fireworks. (4th of July)

We spent the whole day together. Swimming, sunbathing, cooking out. It was the most fun I had in a long time, especially the...*cough* session.. we had on the beach after the fireworks...

Despite the fact that she didn't realize that her hand lotion and the sunblock were two different things and I ended up as a red prune from my massive full-body sun burn, it was a very romantic evening. She is totally worth the minor suffering.

I mirrored your P.S I love you moment in my post... but it started during the opening credits... The Pouges always move me!
