I do see the thread slowly wasting away, but perhaps if it is kept going then it will revive itself.

Ok, next story, little moment, in 10th grade: I was hanging out at the bus lot at my school with a girl I liked, and we were waiting for her bus. She was bemoaning the fact that she knew no one who liked her. I responded with I know someone who will always like you. She asked if it was this one guy, I answered that I had no idea about him but I did know someone. "who"? she asks. My response was to place my hand on her head(I was about a head taller than her, and we were standing side by side looking at the buses during this) and tilt it to the side and up to me.

She only says "really?", I just nod my head, then her bus shows up, she jumps up on her tip toes and kisses me then runs for her bus. unfortunately after that day she never commented on it nor did it lead anywhere but it made my Friday.

I'm joining you.
Hey, maybe that could be you guys first romantic moment! :D

Urrm, I have one, but, if it's okay with you guys, I'd rather keep it to myself...

At a party, i met this girl who was dead set amazing, and as people went into the house to sleep at 10pm (early! they were just talking all that time) me and her started to talk, in the moonlight on an open lush field.

Within after a bit, we were holding each other. It was going to be something good..

..Then she moved away. Far Away.

I've never had one. Never will. Women don't like me ergo I despise human beings. And no I'm not a suicidal Emo teen. I have too much to live for and money to make. Still doesn't change me hating all human life.

You can complain when you're my age.

How old are you? Because I'm getting on (20) and I haven't gotten anything really romantic yet either. And that makes me very sad. Part of it is my own fault though, so I really can't complain.

I think it was my eighteenth birthday. I didn't have much of a birthday at my house (my mom had to work, dad didn't know what to buy me) so I went to go visit my girlfriend.

We bought a pizza from Pizza Hut, set up a blanket in her yard, the sun was shining, there was still snow melting, but we got a lucky 80 degree afternoon. We ate pizza, talked (Exchanged "I Love Yous" back and forth, atop of actual talk), walked around the town for a little while.

Thinking about it makes me think of "Time of No Reply" by Nick Drake.

It's kind of a sad thought now, but romantic? In this case, it was about the most romantic thing in my mind.

More than the first kiss, although that was romantic too.

I don't know, that memory is probably my favorite romantic moment, I guess.

23. Although it's not like I'm Steve Carell in 40-year old virgin lol.

I'll be damned...2 threads in the same night that resurrect a memory I've been trying to kill so it'll leave me alone. Anyway at a friend's bonfire last November, My Ex-then-gf at the time and I spent a good 2 hours or so just laying on the grass looking at the sky, I don't know why but there was something so calming at right about it, and for that bit of time, I had forgiven the world, but as I said on the last thread...memory best left dead and buried.

Yeh I was doing some reading the other night and came across this form of male thinking because Im in a similar situation only less raging and more positive ^_^

Its called the "Scared Spectator" apperently, Its a guy who is fascinated by the opposite sex but generally convinces themselves that all women hate them before they meet them so they prefer to stay outside the relationship cycle, tell themself they are much better off but still pine for some sort of intimacy with a soft an' cuddly chica ^^

Though I look at it from a more subjective point of view when Im busy torching my self esteem.

Every relationship is a potential break up therefore:

Every happy memory is a potential bad dream
The happier you are when you have her the worse you feel when you lose her
Knowing she is with someone else WILL get to you, specially if it was something special
Your mind is plagued by what did I do wrong? and other self torture

Etc etc.

I don't despite humanity however, theres enough anger in the world without my addition.
Just want to become a published writer, get rich and famous and move to Miami ^_^

A single internet forum post isn't enough to analyze that far into a persons personality. If that information was directed at me then in my defence I would respectively disagree. I have attempted and failed with women many times. There have been an innumerable amount of times where luck or someones distaste for who I am has stopped any chances of anything. I'm quite tired of people telling me I'm not trying hard enough or that I simply have a defeatist attitude. Someone's life CAN actually be shit you know, and we aren't all super attractive super stars.

That being said I want to apologize if it sounds like I'm whinging, there are people who have far worse lives than I. *looks at Africa* <.<

This might make several people cringe out there but hear me out.

My ex-boyfriend and I were out on our first date, we'd known each other for years through Drama. He helped me through lot of things including a break-up and after that we both decided to give it a shot (I know what you're thinking, Re-bound! That is really not the case) Anyway, we went to the cinema, went for dinner afterwards at Pizza Hut, not really romantic I know but after dinner we went for a walk on the beach. We sat down at the beach and talked for hours about everything and nothing. Then he stands up, puts his hand out to me and says "Dance with me". We slow danced as the sun was setting.

Feel free to bash all you like. I cringe at it now but if you were in my shoes at the time you would have melted. :)

That's 2 stories that involve Pizza Hut. It must be a magical place. Also, nice stories I guess :p

Don't have much in the ways of romance to share. Not to say my life has been void of romantic-like stuff, just nothing noteworthy really. If anything this thread makes me want to get out more.

I haven't had any chance do to anything romantic for anyone, as much as I would love to someday.

Nobody's ever done anything romantic for me, either.

It'll happen for you, don't doubt it! :D

My most romantic moment - took my partner out for a picnic. We sat in the shade under a tree in the middle of a field, and talked, whilst eating strawberries and cream. It was pretty spontaneous. I didn't even have a picnic hamper til the day before.

I certainly hope it'll happen. I'm getting discouraged and anxious... I'm 22 and have never held hands before. :(

Romance? thats for those beings who do that thing called "going outside" right?
+1

Unless you count seducing Morrigan in DA:O, and that was less romance than taking on a challenge.

When a bunch of rather beautiful girls tried to rob me of my cellphone. I didn't have one though, so they left.
All other semi-romantic moments have ended awkwardly.

This thread is like porn to me. I'm totally in love with love.

Losing my virginity was a big one. Not that there was anything particularly romantic about it, but the way my boyfriend acted when I was in pain and trying to hide it made it romantic.

I find you can get a lot more romance out of a relationship by straight up telling the other person "I want romance" instead of trying to be all coy about it like I've seen girls do.
