I think I may already have made a thread like this but in any case I already made a few 'movie' threads lately and decided to ask what people think is the worst movie of a specific genre. So therefore given that last time I asked what was the least scary horror movie I now ask for the most unfunny comedy. Hence the title of the thread, ace.

Anyway I guess for my choice I'll go with the obvious 'Movie franchise' by Friedberg and Seltzer. All boring excrusiatingly awful monstrosities that are less pardoies of movies. It me it's as if these movies they mention got raped savagley by the 'Jokes' brothers Crass, Crude and Lame and then got pregnant, had a miscarriage and now what remians is the aborted fetal tissue of a movie left on the cold doorstep of Hollywood.

That's mine, what's yours?

There are so many American films that come out and I go and see and never laugh and end up demanding my money back at the cinema.
The most recent one was when I got dragged kicking and screaming to see Pink Panther 2 starring Steve Martin by friends.
They owe me 2 hours.

Well not sure about Movies, but most "teen comedies" like America Pie and Road trip are good when you a lot younger the the movie thinks you have to be to understand it. but when you're older sex jokes just are not as funny

In terms of TV The office; an AMERICAN office (only in caps, so you don't think I mean Gervais and Merchants masterpiece)

Just Married is the only unfunny comedy I have seen since I have the ability to know when a comedy is not funny. I got dragged to Taledaiga (how ever the fuck you spell it) Nights which showed its ONE funny seen in the preview.

I hear there is a certain mind set you have to be in. You almost have to turn your brain off or take a step back (kind of like Yahtzee says when adults play Lego Star Wars) to find it funny

That was kind of the idea. He's pathetic. Although I'll admit, I didn't find the film particularly funny.

Add the first Pink Panther starring Steve Martin aswell. My brain still hasn't recuperated from having to endure this monstrosity. And it has been a while since I've seen it. To prevent myself from developing an aneurysm, I have dcided to stay well away from watching the second aswell.

The original pink panther movies were hilariously fun! Steve Martin has made movies that were decent..ish.
How they came to create such abominations is beyond me.

In fact, I cannot grasp how anyone from producers to cast at any time while making this movie, thought "Man, this is gonna be a great movie!" No, just no. Burn in hell, spawn of evil.

I sat through the Simpson's movie for old times' sake. I haven't watched the series for four years and only laughed when a General was hit in the face by rebounding binoculars. For the rest of the hour and a half, I wondered what the average IQ of the other adults in the cinema were. They were on the floor laughing their lungs out. The movie to me was agonising and painful. I want the hour and a half back I lost!

George Lopez sterotypes are funny sometimes but an entire show based around it is just stupid.

Anything that is over-hyped by people who think we care, ie Hollywoodshitvillecraptownwankerton generally tends to be suitably underwhelming in my book. I can't count on one hand, or even 2 hands the number of movies that have come out in the last 5 years that were supposed to be "This Summers Big Hit Comedy" that were either Will Farrel flops, Apatow pap, spoof films and current fashion trend turned comedy.

I say Burn it. Because it will burn.

Dane Cook, parodies done incorrectly (Spinal Tap did it right, as did Shaun of the Dead. Scary Movie? Not so much), Carlos Mencia (leave the racist humor to Dave Chappelle, asshole), and the Steve Martin Pink Panther movie.

Most spoof films (stuff like Superhero Movie, Meet the Spartans etc.), anything aimed at American children (like the horrific new versions of the Pink Panther series), and also The League of Gentlemen...that was just really really weird.
