I sat through the Simpson's movie for old times' sake. I haven't watched the series for four years and only laughed when a General was hit in the face by rebounding binoculars. For the rest of the hour and a half, I wondered what the average IQ of the other adults in the cinema were. They were on the floor laughing their lungs out. The movie to me was agonising and painful. I want the hour and a half back I lost!

you must have to have a pretty low IQ yourself in order to think that the other people are dumb just because they find something funny that you didnt

It was fucking shite, though. A few 'heh heh' type laughs but, considering it's the Simpson's, it was pretty poor.

Thank you guys, I hear all of these mass raves about how it is the funniest thing on television but I watch it for two minutes and I feel like slapping that smug lead actor. Seriously his old and not good looking, how the how does he get all that action?

Just so I'm contributing, it's on TV but - Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle. Gods that was the most unfunny thing I have ever watched, half an hour nursing a coke while wondering if the Audience were laughing to be polite or whether they actually found it funny.

Don't watch enough comedy movies to make a decision, but in terms of TV, King of the Hill is terrible.

I think it has its moments but overall yeah it's rather bad. As forother TV shows, Simpsons have never been that funny to me. Along wth Mind of Mencia and thoe other stand-up type shows.
