Well not sure about Movies, but most "teen comedies" like America Pie and Road trip are good when you a lot younger the the movie thinks you have to be to understand it. but when you're older sex jokes just are not as funny

In terms of TV The office; an AMERICAN office (only in caps, so you don't think I mean Gervais and Merchants masterpiece)
I'm British and I actually prefer the American version of the Office. But I hate all the ".... Movie" ones such as "Epic Movie"

Any thing with Dane Cook in it, he can kill any good movie, or for that matter any movie with Jack Black in it also. Two of the lamest actors/comedians of all time.

Seinfeld. The stand-up segments can be pretty good but the bits where they sit around doing weak observational humour and that annoying guitar lick every 5 seconds just makes me change channel.

Most spoof films (stuff like Superhero Movie, Meet the Spartans etc.), anything aimed at American children (like the horrific new versions of the Pink Panther series), and also The League of Gentlemen...that was just really really weird.
The League Of Extraordinary Gentleman was not really a comedy. It is based off a comic book series. I think the same man that wrote V For Vendetta (Comic Book) also did Watchmen (Comic Book).

I have an embarrassingly low threshold for cringe related humour, so most American mainstream comedies are out for me, and a lot of British stuff too. I like my humour surrealist!

(When I say low I mean Mr.Bean feels so awkward for me to watch it makes me ill. I can't bare to watch anything based around embarrassment or social awkwardness. I can't last one minute in either version of The Office.)

But for actual bad comedy I'm going with some homegrown Australian fail. Fat Pizza, and Bogan Pride. Fat Pizza's first season was ok. The rest of it? Unwatchable. Bogan Pride was unwatchable from the start.

I never liked The Office. The real Office, I've never seen the American one because after what they did when they decided they'd like a go at Red Dwarf I don't trust them to do good British comedy well and I expect them to do bad British comedy worse. But that's subjective, isn't it? I like Ricky Gervais - Extras was very good, and I enjoy his stand up - but The Office didn't do it for me.

The "... Movie" series is another one, but it sometimes has some amusing bits. I liked the random gangsta pirates section in Epic Movie.

I didn't find the new Pink Panther too bad (this is the second one, not seen the first one) but certainly not amazing.

Two And A Half Men... what the fuck, man? I've only seen in recently (my girlfriend likes it and I've seen it at her place) and it's... god. Just awful. On a related story, I watched a couple of episodes of Friends with the girlfriend recently for the first time in years. I laughed. It was actually really good. But I'm pretty damn certain they were early episodes... so I figure there was probably some crap creep that went on as the series progressed.

The League of Gentlemen RULED. It's called black humour, man (as in dark, not as in Afro-Caribbean). And it KICKS ARSE.

Napoleon Dynamite... that's an odd one. I watched it on my own and got a "Wtf" reaction. Not funny. I'd heard about it via a group of new mates (when I was in a show) who had been quoting it, and their quotes were funny. The film was not. But I got back and we talked about it and the quotes were funny. I've not seen it again since but I think with a group of mates it might be funnier. I don't know. Suffice to say I watched the whole film through without laughing, which should be the end of it, but then met up with my mates and we laughed our asses off basically quoting the entire thing. That shouldn't be how it works, man! The original thing should be funny and quoting it should be lame! But noooooo.

That's my two pence.

Edit: Oh yeah. Little Britain is not a bad show - especially Little Britain USA, that injected some good new life into it - but the Lou and Andy sketch that everyone raves about is godawful.

I'm pretty sure that The League Of Extraordinary Gentleman and The League of Gentlemen are two entirely seperate things...

You are correct. Alan Moore and his Baby Eating Beard (tm) wrote all of those!

And yes, whilst the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen movie was laughably bad, it wasn't a comedy.

You are wrong. Alan Moore and his baby eating beard indeed wrote some awesome comic books, but we are talking about the League of GENTLEMEN. A glorious black humour tour de force from the Land of Eng.

Lol nice catch, I didn't even see that.

And now my brain is imagining a crossover between the two and I will never sleep again.

Don't watch enough comedy movies to make a decision, but in terms of TV, King of the Hill is terrible.
