Movie characters you were saddened (or downright horrified) to see die.

Definitely Wash in Serenity. I get a little teary eyed every time it happens. Of course a character's death was necessary for the strength of the scene, and his was the only one that would have worked. But that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it.

No one has mentioned Darth Vader yet?

No I don't think I needed to put that in spoilers.

Rorschach - Don't know why I used a spoiler it seems this thread has already spoiled that one.

Also kinda upsetting to see Donny die in 'The Big Lebowski.'
Don't know why, its not a very emotional scene.

When Mufasa died in the lion king. God I cried like the little child that I actually was when that happened and it still makes me sad when I watch it.

I'm saddened every time they kill Jason in the Friday the 13th movies - without him the whiny teens would take over the world instead of being diced into mincemeat all over the movie set, damn you. Though, of course, he never really seems to die, so no harm done, I guess.

Also, on a less disturbing note - Why, oh why, did Data have to die in Star Trek: Nemesis?

Good movie, if we're thinking of the same one.

Jasper, in Children of Men. I think he was called Jasper. I dunno. He was old, and grew cannabis or something.
Yeah, I was gonna mention him, along with
Miriam (implied) and Clive Owen's character who's name I forget

That's why I haven't been able to finish the book. There's two chapters left and I can't bring myself to do it. Especially not on the bus!

Sam the German Shepard in I Am Legend. I don't think any film has brought me close to tears other than that. :<

All of the bad guys in the Spiderman films.
Seriously, Venom was in 3 for like 5 fucking minutes.
